  1. There is obviously a difference. I have two kids myself. But there are also lots of similarities. He can hardly claim that being a 100% committed family man is the reason he can’t stay at seagrave one night a week when he has such a high profile job on a ridiculous wage when he sees it fine to go to Europe to get drunk with his mates whilst his mrs who is 6months pregnant is on her own.
  2. But it was fine for him to fly out to Copenhagen on the piss when she was 6ish months pregnant?
  3. I just want to clarify that paternity leave in any job iirc is 2 weeks, unless it has changed in the last 2 years. A proper manager would have come in and addressed the players on whether they were 100% committed to the cause. Those who weren’t could have trained away from the first team. Those who committed could have also had conditions like living together at sea grave until the end of the season etc. all things that create a siege mentality. Yes many would have opted out and we’d have had to make up the numbers with kids, that would have been fine, and I can guarantee we’d have not only seen more passionate displays, but a higher points total too.
  4. Marco Rose would certainly be one of the more attractive names. 0 chance we get him though.
  5. The young lads couldn’t look more lost than the players we’ve had to watch all season.
  6. Or Iraola. There are others too. Absolute madness. There was an array of decent managers available that season including de zerbi too. All were attainable.
  7. Been told this morning that Rudkin has been telling all the scouts there is not going to be any money to buy players and we will only be signing free agents. If true, that significantly limits our options. It also raises questions about the direction of the club given we will be selling the likes of Mads and bilal and bringing in decent money.
  8. That middlesborough game in the snow is memorable. Though the coldness was largely due to being soaked wet through.
  9. Never in a million years. And I don’t want anyone in the pep mould either. We never mastered this style of playing, and it’s stopped being as effective as it was when it first came about. We need a manager who will have us playing with pashun and intensiteeeeeee. sit when we need to, pressing and harassing the opposition, and play a quick ball forward to a player who’s actually been bothered to move to find space when it’s on. Simples. Bonus points for us going back to leaving two players up when defending a corner.
  10. Anyone with a decent set of knee pads and no gag reflex would be an adequate replacement going by what the man currently in post brings to/ under the table.
  11. He’s not as good without Adi Viveash though mate. The two of them parting ways after their issues was the point where he started to struggle at cov.
  12. Was he not our biggest threat against Brentford? are you an ostrich?
  13. Never said he was, but if it gets rvn out the door and helps to create a siege mentality and an opportunity to try something different, most would take it at this stage.
  14. Based on the fact that he was our brightest spark in the 45mins we saw him. much better than Justin, kristianssen, ayew and Bdcr. So could come in for any of them. with the obsession with our wingers needing to track and defend, he fits the bill.
  15. This lad needs to be at the very least in the squad and coming on at 60/70 mins for every remaining game.
  16. I’ve said before, the magical gardening leave. relieves manager of current duties, but still contracted and paid every week. king and vards to step in on a temp basis. financial issue fixed for you.
  17. It’s better than my French.
  18. Needs to be in the starting line up, and playing 90 mins. We could accommodate him in several positions. I wouldn’t be against playing him as a winger tbh - would be a better option in both attack and defence than bdcr and ayew.
  19. We could get around it by putting him on gardening leave and asking kingy to step in until the end of the season.
  20. How much were they being paid? Absolute joke of a club.
  21. Both apparently better options than Carlos Corberan. RVN OUT! king and Vardy until the end of the season would be better than this.
  22. I’ll never get my head around the fact that someone thought appointing cooper and then rvn over Carlos corberan was the right move. 11 points from his first 8 games as Valencia manager. Which included Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Barcelona, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid.
  23. At least there’s one thing to look forward to in the championship. Vardy to drag a load of youngsters plus dross we couldn’t shift and under embargo to a play off place? Trip to Wembley? I don’t mind a bit of that to be honest. Definitely better than what we’ve had to sit through for 2 of the last 3 seasons
  24. Exactly this. He would be getting his share if he had decent players around him feeding him - played like that he’d be way better than anything we could have bought in the summer. If Fatawu hadn’t got injured vardys contributions would have been a lot higher. is he past his best? Yes is it probably his last season at the top? Yes is he the LCFC goat? YES Still one of our best players, and is a club legend. So give the lad a break. Place your blame elsewhere, it doesn’t belong here.
  25. Never thought I’d be the lucky one, with the stomach bug that’s preventing me from getting in front of a tv😂
