Wondering now if the rumour I heard of Darren Fletcher could be partially true, but in the form of a coach.
-
Because nobody with half a brain is offering him a job.
-
Please don’t be Southgate, please don’t be Southgate. The sole reason I have no interest in watching England anymore. If he can nullify some of the best attacking players in the world, just think what he could do with our front line!
-
Really hope I’m wrong, but I can see Ruud being a car crash. Not ready for a PL survival gig. the list of kovac, Schmidt etc is the shortlist we should be using, maybe with the addition of potter and moyes.

Genuinely thought it was Emma Hayes too, missed her appointment at the facial hair waxing salon.

He knows more than rudkin!
-
Was that supposed to be a joke? I hope so, though I don’t get it. if it was serious, your football knowledge is incredibly poor. Hamburger SV were a huge club in their hay day.
-
They had Danny Welbeck back then, and he’s banging them in for fun this season.
-
The exact reason I’m open to having him, despite being against it in the summer.

I heard a whisper that we have approached Darren fletcher, which I’m not too happy about. not sure about the support for rvn - hardly set the world alight in his few games in charge of Man Utd with the players he had available. i think the board might look at Southgate, which is basically replacing cooper with a like for like replacement - i will loose all faith in the board if this happens. the list of out of work foreign managers that keeps getting posted is interesting, I’d be up for any of them. moyes has to be considered purely because he will come in and find a way to get the best out of what he’s got, rather than fit what he’s got into his philosophy. potter, really not that keen tbh. we need someone who brings high energy football. I think we would all be happy to see the team relentlessly pressing. That’s certainly what I want to see. High energy football, pressing the opposition and showing some fight - when you see your team hungry and showing effort on the pitch in that way, the results can be forgiven a bit. Fed up of not only seeing us get poor results, but the team set up tactically to look disinterested and not bothered, and that’s the worst bit.

He’s able to type, so probably not…

Where art thou mahrez?

Puel has to be in there. Literally hated him. Appreciate there were some positives in terms of recruitment, but he was awful.

Terrible news. Local legend and club voice from a top position within the media. This is bad for the club. Disagree with any negativity towards him in this thread. His political views are not extreme at all, he just doesn’t like injustice and suffering and will stand up for the downtrodden - just what a normal person should be imo. Top bloke. Much prefer that to him being a weasel personally. Unfortunately that just doesn’t fit with the regime. They’ll probably recruit someone from the register to take his place. Arguably the most famous person to come from Leicester. Will miss watching a local legend present my football highlights on a Saturday night.

No, we just need a change in structure and for Rudkin to do one. If that was possible under the current ownership, I’d rather not have a new owner. Chances are, we would end up with a sh*t one - like an American consortium that tries to Americanise us, and use our club votes to go with those voting for games in America, changing the league structure to get rid of the competitive nature (no relegations etc.) Honestly, I would only be happy with an oil rich country buying us over what we currently have. Be careful what you wish for, the grass isn’t always greener. Our current owners are the best owners we have had, at least in my lifetime. I appreciate that my opinion won’t be a popular one.

Though the conspiracy theorist in me thinks may be the board wanted us to get relegated the season that we did to do the psr fiddle. If that’s true, you would like to think we see a change soon. We literally can’t get relegated again because the EFL is will screw us royally.

It would only make sense if we completely changed our model and brought in a recruitment team like Brentford, Brighton etc. But we wont be doing that as Rudders is king.
-
Think I’d rather stick with cooper!
-
Dreamland. Also box office - who I wanted in the summer.

BBC sport have posted that the last time we had less wins after this many games was 01-02. And we have had a fairly easy run of fixtures. The writing is on the wall. Get him gone.

I wasn’t in favour of Moyes in the summer. With the way things have panned out, my opinion has changed. I watched a podcast with Moyes and Allardyce a while ago and they were talking about how they are different to modern managers. Both were talking about how they go in to a club and figure out how to get the best of what they’ve got, rather than how they can fit what they’ve got into their system. For that very reason, Moyes stands apart from other, and is what we need right now - essentially a good version of cooper.

If Potter goes to Everton we absolutely have to go for Moyes. Not his biggest fan at all, but think he would be well placed to keep us up.

Reading reports of a player revolt. Hopefully the end is nigh. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/steve-cooper-nears-leicester-mutiny-as-player-doubts-have-intensified-report/ar-AA1r7spi

Moyes is dreamland lads. He won’t want to come here. Watched a podcast recently where he admitted he’s been close to going back to Everton several times (4iirc) since leaving them. Everton are more attractive than us at the moment (pains me to say it) especially to someone with a connection. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s already in talks with them.

The 84 one is the best. Sadly the most recent remake has ruined it and it doesn’t feel authentic, or at least not for me. its a small detail, but I had one of the first retros of it which was a 1:1 copy. The newer one has a stuck/ironed on admiral badge, where as the original and the early retros were embroidered. I only know this because I bought one to replace my battered one, and ended up taking it back. The green one is the same now sadly.
