  1. Bobby D did will last night. The first half performance was part of the game plan. People will say we were awful, and to be honest, if you are taking it out of context then we were. But when you consider that the game plan was to sit back, soak it up, frustrate and keep it tight, get to half time, and we did well. Nobody was technically amazing in the first half, because that’s not the game we were playing at that point. I was really impressed with the defensive shift Bobby, Fatawu, Buonannotte put in. They were everywhere! Mavididi is by far a better player technically and going forward, buy Coops got it spot on in the first half, Mavididi didn’t fit in to the first half game plan.
  2. These antics will get the fans on board. We all love a shithouse, and it’s pretty normal to have a player or two who fits that bill. It looks here like we could also have a manager who is one too, which is a rarity, and to be honest, I quite like the idea of that.
  3. People already talking about his attacking output and how he had a good second half. He was immense in the first half. I sit in the east stand and he was relentless, as were a few others, but one of the stand out performers for us in the first half in my opinion.
  4. Or the kebab you wake up covered in, that’s all in the bed sheets and that.
  5. Agreed made. O’Hare as well at this point would have been a decent signing - yes many will disagree. I wasnt the biggest fan of the idea of us signing him either, but these names that nobody fancied would have been better than not signing anyone. The night is over, the lights have come on, and we need to find bodies quickly.
  6. BBC Sport Gossip claiming that Porto are favourites to sign him. Close thread. Nobody wants to join us.
  7. Na na na na na na na na na na na we want Rudkin out, rudkin out we want rudkin out na na na na na na na na na na na
  8. We will be down by then mate
  9. Not a sausage.
  10. This is exactly why we should have bought szmodics for 9/10m. Those who were/are against it need a reality check. i would take szmodics, chair and hamer right now, and it wouldn’t have been the worst window ever. We also missed out on lots of free transfers and good value deals early on, which we probably thought we were better than. Ryan Sessegnon for example - better than our other natural left backs and can also play on the wing.
  11. A country in the Middle East would be my pick. Or whoever has the biggest wallet. Any new owner with half a brain would send rudders packing straight away.
  12. It was a joke mate, in response to us being linked with loads of players in a short space of time.
  13. But he wouldn’t be earning his living here. He works for a Turkish club who are simply allowing him to play football for us for a season.
  14. Its a bit of a strange situation. im not in anyway an expert in this area, so im probably wrong, but my understanding is that his employer is outside the uk and thats who’s paying him and who he is employed by. He is not and won’t be employed by anyone in the uk. So I don’t see why he has to pay uk tax.
  15. He needs a better accountant. There are creative ways of making this problem go away, or at least minimising it I am sure.
  16. I would liken it more to novelty socks as the main present. Loads of hype and fanfare about this amazing present, then you open it and it’s a pair of garish socks with an inappropriate slogan on - back of the drawer they go. i wonder when our marquee signing Jordan ayew will be announced. Do you think his brother Andre might come too if we chuck an extra fiver in? We need all the bodies we can get at this rate.
  17. Come on then bouba, off you **** quickly so we can reinvest the twenty quid we get for you.
  18. To go with the rest of the tools we have collected over the years - this one could actually be useful though, which makes a difference.
  19. They’re in luck, we love giving away money.
  20. I wish you hadn’t pointed that out. Ward shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence as those two. I’m 36 and I was down Filbert street at 4 - Danny ward is probably the worst keeper we have had in all of that time, few have come close.
  21. Faes is the obvious one. Nobody is paying money for the other dross at the back.
  22. The positivity and calm were nice while they lasted. Back to reality; Ayew the marquee signing. Life of a City fan.
  23. I’m hoping Rudkin is just trolling us so he can watch the meltdown on here, with no intention of actually signing Jordan fxxing ayew.
