  1. I invite anyone who thinks it isn't a rivalry to be around the KP that night. Or be on my train back to Nottingham after
  2. Yeah was just a bit of a shock given the discussion last week. Thought you spoke really well on the gambling issue btw 👍
  3. Great listen again, but did the podcast start off with a Crypto gambling sponsor telling me I could lose everything I invest? 👀
  4. Great question. I think he'll do similar with us if he has a good start. The issue is the points deduction. He wouldn't have kept that Forest team up with -6. I'll be more than happy for him to stay if we put the same shift in as they did that season because I think our squad is better. If that isn't quite enough but he creates a siege mentality and gets us all on side I'd give him the chance to bring us back up.
  5. I've never actually had him do anything for me when he replies. Just acknowledges that I'm absolutely right to be pissed off but there's nothing he can do. He's as part of the furniture as Mr.Rudkin. But if they were furniture, they'd be a piss smelling, hole filled armchair with a season card from 2019 stuffed down the side.
  6. He's won a world cup at youth level and won promotion playing good football. That's more than Corberan has done.
  7. Birch who was also about to be laid off and then given a lifetime contract. I'm far from saying I don't appreciate Vichai and Top and where they've put us because without them none of it's been possible. But it's mad how we ignored all the glaring inadequacies at the club just because of success. We just buried our heads in the sand like ostriches as a fanbase I'm afraid. Everything centred around Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh with the money of King Power and the ripple effect has sadly run out. We are now seeing the startling decline and we are just walking into it again with an extremely passive fanbase.
  8. People often say nothing like this happened under Vichai but luck played a part in that. At least luck for him. Many many times during his time at the club we could have easily backed ourselves into the corner we are now. The way of running the club has never been the most stable. The first couple of years was basically all or bust in terms of promotion. Mel Morris did exactly the same tactic with Derby and failed. We luckily ditched the stupid spending and someone recommended they go back to the fella they made sure was gone before they even arrived. Likewise if we'd have gone back down straight away but only by some miracle we avoided that. We'd have been right in the shit. I still haven't seen anyone delve into how badly this way of operating with loans has ****ed us too. There was many quick to jump to the defense of the club on this when we were still doing well under Rodgers. Are we sure this hasn't been a major factor in the financial **** up? It still beggars belief we have raised £600m in transfers and still managed to back ourselves into such a corner now. We are not far away from being exactly back where we were before Top and Vichai came. If not worse.
  9. It is a unbelievable how Sky try and portray that goal. They so wanted Watford to go up after that. As much as it destroyed me at the time we all know what happened next and it's just part of the story now. I hate that I have to explain that to everyone who looks over and smirks at me every time it's replayed on a Sky break.
  10. It wouldn't be a true Leicester City experience if they clapped the audience at the end and at least half of them weren't already gone would it? The leavers clearly wanted to give the authentic King Power feel.
  11. Was just about to post the same. Its things like this that truly show what you're all about. Not a free donut when you've had some staff work wonders to get you success.
  12. Get KDH back here for £10m when Enzo gets sacked. Lovely jubbly
  13. I think like some others have said it feels like it's a direct plea to those above him to sort it out. I don't really believe he's having to play players out of position because we do have players for it. He probably doesn't want to put Alves in the 10 and him score a hat trick and have Rudkin say he'll do then.
  14. Didn't we get beat by Northampton and Scunthorpe when we won the championship and have a similar pre season meltdown?
  15. I'm not going to overreact at a friendly but if Ndidi does what the rest of his coward mates did and down tools until the end of the season and start playing alright to put himself in the shoo window he can ****ing do one.
  16. Well there's not much about the history of the stands is there?
  17. I had 28 minutes to make my train after arriving at Gatwick Airport the other month. I made it
  18. Don't think anything will ever top the Sevilla game for me. My greatest night at the KIng Power and what he's one of the most important people in our history. Without doubt. RIP Shakey
  19. Would you though these days?
  20. Why did we pursue it so long? You literally find this out from the agent first these days. Did they blindly think they'd be able to convince him once they could talk to him? I wouldn't be as bothered if we instantly went in for someone else of the same ilk. Hopefully we have and there just isn't any noise yet. If we really did pursue this for that long and then go and get Ayew you really do have to wonder what the **** is going on any more.
  21. In before someone says they had a Brazilian last weekend
  22. This. I wish people would stop talking about us like this club no one wants to play for and saying we are skint. Neither of which are true. A year in the Premier League is massive exposure for a player. They'll all be getting release clauses if we go down. Those two factors mean more to the vast majority of players than signing for any Championship club. Not to mention things like wages and our infrastructure being much better than any championship team. It feels like it's just much easier to say everything's doomed. I guarantee the same people saying all this are the ones who said we wouldn't go up and probably get double relegation last summer.
