It sure as hell was a better option. It wasn't just not playing Albrighton. It became a stubbornness after not getting Sensi. He managed to make the most in depth squad in the league look into a tired 12-14 man squad with so many devoid of confidence because of it. We get over the line in the end and he's saved his narrative. It could all have been very different though.

One of the many issues I have with Enzo's philosophy is the massive misuse of Albrighton this season. Id love to ask him why he's laughing because Albrighton does more in a minute than our wingers had all game against Blackburn. He wouldn't have been laughing if Bristol, Millwall and Plymouth games cost him promotion, his job and reputation.

It's still a year's exposure in the Premier League. Obviously they'd want us to survive, but being in that spotlight for a year if they play well is enough to make a lot of players want to join.

I think the start of Enzo realising exactly what those above him were like was when we went to Thailand last pre season. The hilarious thing is, it is even working. The laughable attempts at flogging that Thai clothing range by putting it on all the players as they walked out and playing to about 200 people in monsoon season. Way to go Top
