To be fair it wasn't exactly difficult to work out. He rejected Sevilla quick enough. If he doesn't get this job, he's going to be linked with anything that comes up in the first few months of the season. Combined with the fact I have no faith in the philosophy, I'd rather he went now to give us the best chance of staying up.

Fairplay to Rooney for still going for it, undoubtedly his last chance. Was a stupid move for him to go to Birmingham who were doing well with a poor team. I have a feeling he'll do well there

Then said they were tired in his post match interview. Genuinely think if we win that 2-0 then none of what happened next unfolds like that.

Yeah even if it wasn't down to Rodgers to say he can leave, he did no one any favours by calling Danny Ward a number one in waiting for so long. Given how much the clueless people above Rodgers valued his opinion, they'd have just seen an ageing Goalie demanding 100k a week for another three years with this great former Liverpool keeper waiting for his chance. There were countless mistakes for years since Vichai's death but you could easily make a case for that being the worst one.

When Kasper does it it's because of his great attention to detail. When I recite results from 2005 my Mum got me checked for autism.

He spoke about it a bit last year. Said he had offers from around Europe so asked for a longer contract here and we weren't prepared for give him one. He didn't feel wanted enough so left. He offered to come back too midway through the season and that was turned down.

I think we'll only really appreciate how rare it is to have had Schmeichel and Vardy in 20 odd years time when we haven't added anyone else to the legends list. They come around very rarely and I'd say they probably go above anyone player wise in our history.

Agree with this, and my only worry comes in the potential new manager still being a follower of this philosophy i.e Martin. But you have to worry if this is the case. If our board can't keep good relations with a manager who's just won the league after the countless errors they've made the last few years. They will only keep getting away with it for so long.

That one with the big 125 below the badge? Yeah might be

I don't get his victim mentality. He was supposed to be running for charity and was just after free use of cars and watches. You have to laugh at Ian moaning about how no one backed him and just seen it as their opportunity to progress. If there is anyone in the world who'd have done the exact same, it is him.

It's funny because the leaked emails from Man City's dealings are literally exactly this with sponsors. Anything less than relegation for them and it's corrupt as ****.

Imagine everyone waiting to hear your expert input and you say "anything can happen" Cheers mate. Hope you're released from whatever prison you're in.

It's more not being desperate for him to stay. Certainly not for a mega new contract and more power. Which everything points towards happening in return. People are using words like baffling for so many not being a massive fan of his, but it would surely be more baffling to suddenly ignore all of his shortcomings that were so prevent for the past few months just because we eventually did achieve exactly what we should have done anyway. It would have been an absolute embarrassment to not go up with that team. I could write pages worth of issues I have with his philosophy and how I don't think without serious reconsideration he's going to get anywhere with us. It feels like all the defending people did of Brendan as we slowly capitulated.
-
If he stays he's getting a new deal and do you trust the imbeciles at the club to not do the same again?
-
There's not a chance I've watched his absolute amateur performance so many times in the last few months to think he's worth us giving a silly contract to. If you want to go then jog on mate. Appreciate you actually managed to get us over the line, but if the options are given him a Brendan esque deal or watch him walk to Chelsea then it's a very easy one for me.

The Elton John concert?

How Leicester would it be to employ a manager we tonked 9-1 on aggregate from Southampton after signing half of Southampton's defence from the 9-0? On top of that he's one of the most inept, arrogant and insufferable managers in the world. I can't think of a worse appointment.
-
We couldn't sign him because of FFP. Had nothing to do with whether we wanted him or if he was good enough.
-
As long as he's learned you can actually change a formation, and one chance landing to Daka all match against a relegation threatened team to boost your xG above theirs isn't a display of dominance, then I'll be happy.
-
Absolutely not. Don't put any ideas into the clubs head. They'll probably try and put King Power on it somewhere if they can.

Mavididi is absolutely perfect for our situation. Point to prove and all the attributes. The criticism he gets is the same as the kind of stuff about Barnes. If he did everything these people demand of him he wouldn't be playing for Leicester or have been available to us in the Championship.

I'm starting to think Enzo has acquired some top level PR contacts from his time at Man City. Everything, including the bullshit we have to endure from Guillem, seems more geared to bargaining with the club for more power and a better contract than any actual interest. Any top level club would have watched how we played over the last 15 games or so. Not only that but Kompany has massively tarnished the deluded tunnel vision of "lesser" clubs who think Peps way is the only way. It will take at least a year of proving himself with us at the top level to get any concrete interest. If he's demanding things left right and centre to our board then I'd call his bluff and let him walk away from his nice contract. Of course, like Brendan, he won't.

Well Souttar and Coady did come in for one off games and bar the disastrous showing at Sheffield Wednesday where no one played well - neither did badly. Vestegaard was one of the players of the season but Enzo's the first to remind us how tired everyone is. At one point Nelson was favoured to Coady. If Coady was just performing that badly in training then fair enough but he never gave off the impression he was. The Bournemouth game was sandwiched in between the start of our abysmal run if I remember right and Coady was class in that.
