I think winks being out for a few games has definitely made a difference, he’ll always try and make himself available for those passes and his football iq is miles ahead of any of our other midfielders (excluding BEK and facundo as they’re more offensive minded)

Agreed, I’ll always try and back a manager but his decision to start ward was suicidal and his obsession with starting Ayew is a real concern imo, facundo on the bench was a bizzare shout as well against one of the worst defences in the league. Keep the faith!

That’s a fair point. At the end of the day being professional footballers they’ll see more of ward than we do, but I genuinely don’t believe they’ll feel as comfortable with ward behind them than mads.
