In the olden days there was an art to management. Managers used to look at the available squad and the devise a plan according to their talents (or lack of) I accept this Dutch fella is being asked to make a silk purse. But, instead of attempting to get a system suitable to the limited resources, managers now (Russell and Kompany etc) lay down a system and stick with it regardless. As is this Dutch fella (I don't like his name,) with 4231 with the same personnel. First thing to ever look at is, what do we have that the oppo won't like? I know this pre dates the Dutch fella, but we had Souttar and Vesty available in July. Personally, idy have thought....I don't really fancy Faes or Vesty or Souttar or Coady or Okoli at this level week in week out, so I'll play two big fckers and give the opposition something to think about. Likewise up front. Daka can't reliably score but put him and Mavididi up top and lump the ****ing ball into the channels if needed to relieve some pressure. Get the fcking opposition turning back to their own goal Basic basic stuff when you have a crap hand

Did he manage to deliver the report without mentioning Clough, Ron Saunders or Cyrille Regis? Cannot stand the man.. -
Eh? I doubt he gives us a second thought, let alone hate

Whatever team someone might suggest you'll disagree. It's opinion thing. But there is some factual stuff; We've played the same formation since Newcastle away and got the exact same outcome as at Newcastle away. How about a rethink eh, Ruud? Maybe it ain't working like. We don't play any pace up front. Factual. Maybe, just maybe, when a team is rubbish, the mamager has to resort to the basics away from ability. Be stronger or taller Run further. Be faster.

It's one of those what we should've done with Ward two years ago and Bertrand. Call him into the office, inform him we've made a mistake, he's free to leave, we'll honour his contract in full and wish him all the best. Sometimes the best business decisions are those when you admit you've got it wrong,.pay up and move on. -
Birch effectively appointed Pearson. And I'm not joking.
-
His dad didn't build the club. It was here way before him, bumbling along on our own nondescript way.. Vichai financed a remarkable chapter but if it wasn't for Pearson and Ranieri, we'd still be nothing as we were before

I wouldn't be surprised if Whelan canvassed Man U hard for this to ensure as few City fans are there as possible -
Wherever I travel in the word, mention our name and everyone still thinks we are cool af

At our peak, Champions and champions league football he oversaw; Bob Zieler, Slimani for x3 his recommended value Mendy who looked like kante to replace kante and an unknown Spanish full back with a long throw.

Whoever it is, let's cut out the elephant sequin gold trims and just get back to white shorts eh? That'll do me.

4231. 0-0 after a tame first half Ange makes a basic tweak at HT 1-0 to spurs 2 mins into second half We sub off Bilal and winks for McAteer and Skipp 2-0 spurs Game over without spurs breaking sweat

The man played Ward. TWICE. Gross misconduct. The man still employs.Ben Jacobs - a coach who oversaw for the single worst managerial performance in our history The man plays the exact same formation, week in week out and gets the exact same result, week in, week out. Finally, other than a FIFA pro licence that's also been achieved by tens of thousands of people worldwide, he has absolutely no qualifications whatsoever to do the job.
-
Drop Vardy. Simple as. And then play either Daka or Stephy up top
-
It was clear to see the players despised cooper. However, that doesn't distract from the fact RVN has been pathetic. Tactics,.team selctions,. substitutions. Same.week.in, week out.
-
That ain't correct though. As always, fans look.at the result.. Win= players tried. .manager good.. Lose= players.dont care. Manager shit They tried today. See beyond the result. Winks and Soumare cannot help being destroyed in the middle. Manager is humiliating them JJ has needed a break to take the heat off him for weeks. Manager is humiliating him. Vards, forget that he's a hero,.is, frankly,. absolutely useless now. That doesn't distract from a wonderful dream like 10 years.
-
They ain't good enough There's no lack of effort
-
There was no lack of effort out there today. They are simply being set up for defeat by a woefully inadequate manager and left under equipped courtesy of DoF who doesn't know what to do. Faes gave everything today. VK. Soumare tried. Bilal desperately trying to whip up the crowd. JJ keeping going despite crowd on his back and his lack of form (always respect a player that doesn't hide) Edit; winks btw, you can see from m.his body language,.it's a hopeless cause

Yep, makes sense and valid points. I'd counter.it with a 25m player should be able to cope in a two too. But he isn't at that 25m level. He's a 5m player being asked to play against superior players. Which the manager must decide; do I play regardless and hang a player out to dry? Or do I cover the shortcomings? Soumare and Winks also can't cope playing against superior movement,.speed of thought and strength. The logical answer - for all three - is to compensate. This clown in charge will/can't do that
-
That isn't an excuse to sub Bilal, refuse to play Buonnotte, persist with Vards, play McAteer, sub off Stephy and hang the midfield out to dry But yes, still agree we are going down regardless of management
-
Yup. Lots of fans are culpable in this. The mood music was positive. On the basis he was famous, good looking and wore cashmere. There's simply more to football than that. But a good 75% of the fan base think there isn't. And, as the post above says, Top's immature ego (Manchester United sir!) and Rudkin's amateurism (I'll look at this pile of CVs agent xyz have sent in) .....it's a recipe for disaster. The only good thing about this whole saga is the smug satisfaction of being proved right! I called this Dutch bozo from the get go. In fact, I even called him out at his tenure at Man U
