Yeah, I agree. The sentences dished out are deterrent and about maintaining public order. Just not convinced that's right or fair. Put it like this,.if I was directly responsible for sending to prison a silly old man who got carried away whilst waving placard about NASA and thr deep state, I'd feel a bit sheepish tonight
-
Haha, yup, thanks for the heads up. Yes, he died in custody was what I was trying to link!
-
His sentence wasn't about individual justice. It was political. His crime under ordinary circumstances might attract a suspended sentence or community order. 2 years 8 months imprisonment was grotesquely disproportionate to the crime.

I wonder if the judiciary and Starmer now feel a bit guilty over throwing the book at a silly old fella https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy8x5x51l3vo Edit; link to correct story https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpw5w8nl5ezo

Far from convinced of her innocence, but that she was convicted beyond reasonable doubt is pretty flimsy
-
Agree. They look very very ordinary indeed. Gibbs white apart, We have better players all over the pitch.

I've mentioned it a couple of times, but I'd accommodate the two wingers or trio of winks, skipp, Wilf by forgoing Vardy. Either then play Stephy as the most advanced player or Buonnotte as a false nine. It's counterintuitive to remove a striker to be more attacking, but as we are light on attacking xG anyways, I don't think we lose much but we gain a lot in box crashing and rapid breakways with a stable midfield.. 4231 Mads Usual defensive four Winks, Skipp double pivot Abdul, Wilf, Stephy Buonnotte For me that's our strongest starting xi

It's always a bug bear I've had with the city of Leicester. We have thriving, affluent villages with decent pubs restaurants in the likes of Kibworth, Mountsorrel, Woodhouse, Bosworth etc ....but the punters won't set foot in the city centre. Interesting that that filth is now catching up (falling back) into that dynamic -
Was that Sheff Utd? The season Vards scored in the last minute around December and snapped the corner flag? I'm sure they hadn't won at that point
-
That was Winks and Faes. They took over tactically once we smelt blood and urged calm and to get saints retreating. For me it was tremendous matchplay from them both. Just think the players do stuff in spite of Cooper, not because.. But as always,. wonderful analysis. Thanks for the huge effort you put in.

Thank goodness for the firestick and watching the neutral PL feed.

Undoubtedly the weirdest fan base. Plus, they don't do pain. They don't do defeat. If they lose,.or get relegated,.or whumped 9-0, they just consider it as all part of the forest masterplan. And happily slink off to the ice rink to start chatting about the oldest pub in the world and Paul Smith. Edit; like when Wes joined us. A mate of mine was delighted.. genuinely delighted, as he considered some fella called Michael Mancienne better...it was like 'yet another good decision by us!' -
Congrats Wilf. Thought yesterday was yet another 8+/10 performance

I can't sit with this. I detest the place. A genuine, visceral all consuming loathing. Their nightlife, the unis, their fabricated 4 birds for every fella stat, their trams, that council house in the middle. I'd love the see the place nuked -

If he could get the team - Inc the bench - right, we'll give most teams a game and a headache. Bilal gotta be dropped. There isn't room for him and Buonnotte. He'll have to be the heir apparent for now. That red filth have some decent proper players now but also clowns like that Yates -
Couple of years ago I had a Ukrainian ski school instructor. The man was an absolute lemon. But I was surprised at his absolute lack of embarrassment that he wouldn't go near home and would leave it all to 'the soldiers'. I mean, easy for me to say never having walked in his shoes but it was the lack of apology for it that surprised me. I handed him a white feather!

I cannot stand Ramsdale. It's a bit unhinged. But I really don't like him. Not very Christian of me, but I'm revelling in his distress tonight. -

I really don't get this winks stuff. He isn't faultless but we are far better team when he's on the pitch. Him,.Skipp and Wilf are three very very decent PL players who are hard work for any opponent to handle/better in the league -
I get you, but absurd as it sounds, you don't always need to start with your very best xi, as counterintuitive as that sounds.. They were terrified of him.the moment he came on..

Anyone got a video clips of his two fluffs today? The first 'shot' inadvertently ending up with Abdul and the second inadvertently teeing up Facundo -
I think again the players got us through today. Which sounds mind numbingly obvious. But late on the players squeezed and controlled and probed - largely via Faes and Winks. It was on field intelligence that won us today

I'd like rob tanner or Owen Palmer to ask Cooper in a presser politely, tactfully and understandably without being rude or offensive about BdcR, what McAteer needs to offer to get ahead of him. -
Agree. It did. My point was it was kinda lucky. He had to roll the dice. I get that. But he rolled a six. It was luck. Agree again but not me. I've liked the three of them fron the get go - tho accept many don't share that view

It was an extraordinary cameo. Chaos theory I suppose. But seriously, there needs to be a steward's enquiry as to what's going on. He's Ward level. He doesn't look a pro footballer. I'm sure he used to be. Bit he ain't now. -
The Skipp / Winks switch was usual clown Cooper behaviour. The winks, Skipp, Wilf triumvirate has been one of our strongest points. The obvious HT switch was Bilal off and winks on and push Wilf up. As for the BdcR introduction. Words fail. And, as buzzing as I am, the decision to abandon full backs very very nearly cost us a gimme win. Saints had two big chances in Injury time and we were all over the place for 10 mins after we went 2-1. He's a lucky fella
