Amongst the worst tactical subs I've witnessed at this level. He can't read a game. BdcR. FFS.

Norwich look a level above Derby, who look like what they are, league one huff and puff Even more satisfying is that two of Norwich's goals shouldn't have counted š -
Totally this. Should be Fatawu both for his capability on a break and his defensive work. And the fact he can proper jump high. We will have needed defending corners. If we are gonna play Buonnotte, I'd have dropped Vards, who cannot in anyway play the role required. But I suspect cooper is worried about upsetting Vards.
-
I'm not so sure he'll go anyways. Part of the job today is, if we are gonna lose, we lose well. Goal difference is worth an extra point come the end of the season.
-
Ya know, I wouldn't play a striker today. And just look to break with wingers and under lapping full backs. Try to overload them wide If Vesty was fit, I'd go three at the back and drop Faes to bench Mads JJ, Vesty, Okoli Ricky Skipp winks Vk Abdul Wilf Stephy
-
The best scenario is that Cooper stumbles across (forced into) his best side and best players and we get something out the game Worst case is we get something out the game but with Soumare, BdcR, Ayew and Eduard all on the pitch š
-
Our crowd is 90% bonehead, yet even they knew Stephy is just about our best player. I find it almost unbelievable (in the truest sense of the word) that Cooper felt initially that BdcR was the better player. It's borderline lunacy that the manager can't work that out. The add on to that odd decisions to drop/rotate Fatawu, Skipp and sidelining Vesty, Ricky, McAteer

Exactly. The days of the PL and sky deciding what someone can watch are long over. Punters now expect to watch whatever game they watch, not be force fed Chelsea v Fulham if sky seems that good for us.

He's a (very good) modern CEO rather than manager/coach. Probably could say the same about Southgate.

Been thinking about visiting there...glad to hear it's decent

But that was orchestrated by Rodgers' team. They brokered the deal, they approached us.

Great to see the telegraph reporting that the ECBs sales doc for the hundred is in cloud cuckoo land. -
The doctor's testimony today was grim and eye opening. But I'll be interested to see if the inquiry admits/recognises (or even praises) that hospitals soon got things under control, essentially by triaging (aka refusing to treat) the extreme elderly that were packing out the hospitals during the crazy period he described.
-
Exactly this. Dying with COVID and dying having had COVID isnt the same as dying of COVID. But they all counted the same
-
I'll gladly concede I'm not a stats man. In anything. Im a back of fag packet maths guy... anything more detailed bores me to tears. But wasnt the mortality rate 1%? It rings a bell. And if those 1% who copped it, about 80% were over 80. A quick Google is (interestingly) inconclusive. Either way, anyone not old was almost certainly not going to die. Though, like colds and flu and meningitis and measles and sepsis and car accidents etc, you will always get the unlucky outliers - and I accept that
-
Haha, fair comments and yup,.pretty grim evidence. But yup, for 99% of people,.it was the flu at worst, heavy cold or, yes, a sniffle. It's unarguable that the extreme elderly and very weak (and very unlucky) were at a medium to high risk. I accept that.

KP have been useless at manageriak choices since day 1. Sven FFS. It's the equivalent of me pitching a movie script and being asked who I've got in mind for the lead role; 'errrrr, Tom Cruise!' Then Pearson. Who was appointed not after exhaustive research, but coz Birch suggested him. Rainieri was along the lines of Sven old,.famous ergo must be half decent. Puel, Maresca - gonna guess Rudkin trying to show off that he knew what he was doing. When secretly he'd just copied Southampton (in both cases, as they went after Maresca too) Rodgers stinks of his own agent pitching us. Smith, Cooper. Jeez.

I remember the lens game. When there was a break in play - for Daka - Winks was really going at it at the players to try and get control of the game. I was surprised. I'd never seen him like that. Nowadays players tend to turn to the bench if they have a problem. To see him so animated was worrying at the time. But easily put aside as a one off. I think however I've seen Winks lose his nut, one way or the other, in every game since. It's all wrong. The atmosphere stinks. Edit. It's Claude Puel again. We all knew he'd lost the dressing room and schmeichel wasbarch instigator (his dad disrespectfully and disgracefully imo calling out puel on danish Tv as 'the problem' ....at least Claude had the advantage of getting results, Vardy apart playing his best players, blooding youth and overseeing some great signings. Cooper has none of that credit in the bank.
-
It's pretty obvious Vesty has had a fall out. No surprise there. He's an uber self-assured individual and I'd guess has a high opinion of himself.. Ricky is clearly going down the passive aggressive route of being a model pro. Less said the better. Damned by what you don't say.. Mavididi can barely conceal his contempt at the end of games. Winks' body language is all wrong, continually having to give mid game coaching sessions to the rest of the team. Mads too.

The only heartening thing is that forest consider him a legend and we consider him an embarrassment. It illustrates the expectations of both clubs.

Tomorrow I'd just get yet another payday loan from Macquirie for his contract amount, I reckon about 6m quid.. Exchange it for 10p pieces down at the bank. Bag it up. Pay him off. There ya go love. You don't have to come in anymore.
