  1. There's something kinda cool about travelling half way around the world for just a few days. You could theoretically get to NZ for 800 quid, two nights and two days on the plane - food and drink included! - 300 quid on a hotel for three nights, 300 notes spendos ....and only use up a week's leave. 1500 quid. I've spent more on a fcking blocked drain. Edit. In fact, I might go do it!!!
  2. Think you are giving him too much credit. He's a narcissist pure, obsessed with winning and power. I don't think there's any depth to his plans for politics or the constitution whatsoever
  3. Strong shape and team, but I'm absolutely convinced we can play Buonnotte as a false nine and in doing so, improve on Vards.
  4. Could it be that Trump isn't racist? Isn't it just more that he's simply unpleasant to those who don't like him, regardless of colour? I think many Trump supporters are racist, for sure. But I'm not sold that he is per se.
  5. I'm off the back of a good eight days or so. No details needed as it stinks of humble brag. But goodness me, the comedown weighs heavy. This too shall pass etc
  6. The mind boggles what Salmon was eating in North Macedonia to require him to need tomato sauce. Or was it an item permanently on his rider? Did salmon travel worldwide needing ketchup on his sushi, his pad thai chicken and schnitzel? Classic Jock behaviour
  7. Telegraph reporting that Alec Salmon died whilst opening a bottle of tomato sauce.
  8. I'm gonna guess - and I'm being generous here - that there's a layer of middle management at the club that are careerist. And use these absurd ticketing policies and fan signings as a way of saying, he look at this idea I introduced to professionalise our department. Of course, this approach entirely misses the point that a club is in effect a cooperative. A members club. A charity. A local authority. I know if course legally it's a business but the similarities with 'business' end there. And clearly there are people who aren't getting that
  9. Whelan on rusty trombone!
  10. Hell will freeze over before Whelan sanctions young lads standing
  11. Worth reposting. Great point, obvious to all except Cooper and his staff
  12. Is written him off before we'd even signed him. I've seen bits of him at palace. He's absolutely honking
  13. Exactly this
  14. I was one of those broadly supportive of his appointment. I'm kinda staggered how quickly he's lost me, and presumably countless others. And seemingly, the players too Team selections,.subs, in game ineptitude, ward, BdcR, Soumare, Edward ...the cowardly persistence with playing Vards (presumably fearing a backlash of he drops him)
  15. Decent bench player. His general arrogance/swagger is good to have around too. That's it.
  16. Always been a fan, despite some flaws in his game. Absolutely tragic how we've gone from unearthing signings like him, and Fatawu and Stephy and Okoli tbf to settling for BdcR, Ayew (who has his strengths, but he's not very us, is he?) and Edward.
  17. Same. And I checked to see if he was balling out VK (as he was in line of sight between Faes and cooper) ...but it was DEFINITELY a tirade at Cooper. Extraordinary. And damning
  18. He doesn't look as if he knows how to run, let alone play recreational football
  19. Those subs. The (lack of) timing of the subs. The refusal team change shape in the face of an opponent who'd changed HALF of their outfield players and changed formation and tactics.. I remember wondering - without too.much hyperbole - when Rodgers was at his worst, whether Rodgers was well. I'm starting to ask the same about Cooper. Is he unwell? Surely professional wouldn't be stuck in such decision paralysis Edit to add; Pearson lost his marbles on four occasions that I can count, Ostrich, F Off and die, MacArthur and heart failure at Burnley away I think in the promotion season. Pressure does odd things to people
  20. We must've had three of the worst PL players finishing on the pitch today today. This guy is EXACTLY what I expected. He's an abomination.
  21. Not bothered about the Cooper staying ramifications of a win. Just win. Any old how will do.
  22. I fancy us.. Mainly a Bournemouth have had a relatively lucky start. Second best at Everton but winning and dispatching a woeful Southampton. Lower mid table teams aren't capable of stringing consistent results together
  23. Rokermen have started really well. Deserved 1-0 lead atm
