Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

100% Ruud is staying for next season. -
Well it is…. We will sell saleable assets and shift a few off the wage bill and we will be able to strengthen. And even then, we don’t need a huge amount to put together a decent team. The championship is pure dogshit, clever signings and a decent managerial appointment will see us right. Yes it’s not as healthy as the last time we went down, but let’s not pretend we’re some small poor minnow, we’re not, we just need to make a good decision.
-
We’ve had some painful afternoons at the city ground….. this may be one of the worst. The saving grace is we are done already, so there won’t be any disappointment.
-
Milenkovic is the best CB in the league IMO. Colossus.
-
I’d rather us get beaten badly playing youth players, than get beaten badly playing shit players.
-
It’s bad, very bad…. But with a good appointment it need not be. Enzo proved last season what a decisive manager can do if given the chance. That’s the type of character we need, not Dyche.
-
People are falling into a trap again, of “steady park of hands” or a “manager who takes no shit”. Dyche and Leicester aren’t a good fit, he doesn’t offer a brand of football that the board will want and I he would be harmful for the development of the academy. We don’t need a battle axe, we need a forward thinking manager who knows exactly what they want…. Just like we had with Enzo, he wasn’t Dyche? This is a sign of our desperation as a fan base…..

I’ve genuinely not watched a minute of us since Spurs away, and that’s never happened. Fully expect a roasting this afternoon, they need to win, can win, and will win….. could be an embarrassing afternoon. Could finally see us get properly pummelled. 7-0.
-
No doubt we will spend the afternoon smashing up pubs in Nottingham again.

We know how shit Top is at decision making….. Ruud gets a couple of good results and I genuinely think that could be enough to convince Top to let him have a go….. I mean, we recruited him because he beat us twice in a row……. -

I’ve got a feeling they’re going to keep him on. -
Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

Tries hard, but he’s ****ing shit. I’ll drop him off with Farce. -
Flekken is 31…… and there’s rumours he is wanted anyway by the likes of Bayern….
-
Baffling? With their Danish connections and the fact they’re a billion miles away from where we are now?

1. Finish this miserable season 2. Finish this miserable season 3. Finish this miserable season 4. Florest fail to qualify for the champions league and Finish this miserable season.

Lol okay…….

I do think they will try their best to hold onto Bilal. They won’t want to sell him at a loss, which will be the sticking point.
-
They were utterly dead a buried when he took over, and he turned them around. They didn’t finish bottom, and if he had come in earlier he might have saved them. Plus, they’re in a right old mess behind the scenes. He’s done a remarkable job even getting them going.

Bloody lovely to see.

Hmmm. I partially agree but not fully, respectfully. Technically, yes…. The majority of players playing at this level are technically sound, all of them are fantastic athletes, and all should have a sound understanding of the game. Which is probably why the playing field is now more evenly spread, however. Isn’t necessarily better? I’d argue no. Most of the teams bar a hand full play the same way, a lot of the players are geared up to play like robots all in the same way. There seems to be no more standout individuals, to the level of Messi or Ronaldo for example, everyone just appears to be the same boring passing machine. But generally, this year has been a honking league. You’ve got United who have been disgusting as have Spurs and no one has seriously challenged Liverpool, Arsenal had a tickle but are well short. Will be interesting to see what happens going forward. I just think football throughout the world wide game has current got a very boring crop of players. Perhaps there’s a world wide transition and we will soon see another golden generation of talent……

I think the fact this Liverpool team has won this league this early just shows how shit this premier league is currently. They’re not even that good, I don’t think this team is as good as the Klopp team that won the league. Going to be an interesting few years between the top two divisions….. we’ve fallen on our arse just at the wrong time, because I think it’s just going to be rinse and repeat now for a long time until something changes that breaks the league apart, IE a break away super league or there’s a huge crop of unique talent that emerges. I just feel football in general is really on its arse, every “top” team tries to play the same, and the players are just robotic copies of each other…… It’s a professional body that’s now a bit similar to just working at Tesco. They’re turning up to work, doing about enough to get a job done and going home…… really is boring as **** this.
