  1. Honestly this season has been the stuff of ****ing nightmares…… Cov in the premier league…. For **** sake. And still, some fans sit there and clap…..
  2. And me. This is the start of the end of the football club.
  3. They should be dragged through the streets of Leicester and shamed.
  4. Gone for my favourite Silko Thomas for both.
  5. So who are we going for? We’ve got to make an example here…
  6. Harry Souttar.
  7. I agree with you. This iteration of King Power is not the same King power as it was under Vichai, and it is clearly post Vichai that the problems have really accelerated. It’s impossible to say where we would be had he not passed away, but theoretically we can say we probably wouldn’t be where we are now. Vichai made mistakes, but the key difference between him and Top, was he has the foresight, mindset and business experience to make the necessary changes. Top has inherited something he took for granted, and frankly hasn’t got a clue how to run, he’s surrounded himself incompetent people who seem to stick, and the good people see to go. I agree with you regarding the fan base to, we have an opportunity to collectively make change, and we’re not…. If we get wound up it’s as much on the collective fan base as it is Top. There should be 30k stood outside of that main entrance on match days making their feelings known, but there isn’t enough people who care enough/properly understand the situation we’re in. I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said.
  8. It won’t be sold for housing, don’t he council own a certain % of it?
  9. This is exactly what I thought the other day! I’m expecting a repeat of that game. A dismal end to an era.
  10. Yea, I thought this. He’s given up. Pompey will be a blood bath.
  11. We’re not renting or selling Seagrave….. What is under consideration is selling Belvoir drive and relocating the female squad.
  12. I had an interesting conversation today with an affiliate of the club. They do a fair bit of work at Seagrave. They claim, with all of he hidden figures behind Seagrave, it’s costing in excess of £50m to run, so, if this is the case, we could be losing a-lot more than just £40-50m a year as a standard, it’s probably closer to £70m to £80m…. Whereas this isn’t necessarily an issue at league one level for the league, it will be for us. We won’t be making enough money to keep Seagrave running, let alone cover the rest of the outgoings. This is what will kill us, Top has to be willing to plug the gap, but, I don’t think he will……
  13. There would still be a load of “fans” who clap them off.
  14. This is the problem. There’s a social element to the football, that’s why I manly went, but none of us are going now, all got young kids, all deciding that we’re not sacrificing time now. It’s just not worth it anymore, I won’t be going back until King Power are long gone.
  15. I think this too. They will steam roll us.
  16. I wish I was as shit at my job as Rudkin was and got promoted year after year.
  17. Sticking a £5 on us going down again and making some money.
  18. Pompey know a win more or less keeps them up, so they will win, very easily.
  19. If anyone says “a few new grounds” they deserve a smack. ****ing nothing good about league one. The championship is the pits, league one is the arsehole of football.
  20. It’s okay us trying to compare us to Wrexham and Birmingham thinking we can spend what we want. But you’ve got to remember neither of those clubs are losing the type of money we’re losing. Financially, we’re still operating with an output of a top half premier league team. We can’t just change that, we cant just sell Seagrave, offload any players Willy nilly. Everything depends of what Top is personally prepared to do, can he afford to essentially pump money into the club as “revenue” so we can essentially do what we want? Or is he willing.
  21. The consequences are more severe I think because there’s no real limit to the deductions they can implement.
  22. Simply put, yes. There are two huge questions though. How is he going to offset the £40-50m natural losses V the lost revenue. Can he actually afford to bankroll the club personally, as Ling Power as a business won’t.
  23. Someone young and upcoming. Similar to McKenna. We need a long term plan, and someone to help implement it.
  24. https://www.efl.com/governance/financial-regulation/ I mean there is already a thread open about this. In essence, if Top is willing to plow money into the club, to cover the natural losses, and we can successfully get rid of all of the high earners, then we won’t necessarily be at threat. And we could do some form of rebuild. But it all hinges if Top is willing to plow money into the club.
