  1. Who's Binface/ Loony Party in this?
  2. Looks like we've got our new set piece coach sorted
  3. What was most interesting during my time in Asia was the knock off shirts I saw - Man United led the way, then I'd say Arsenal and Liverpool. After a HUGE drop off, I saw a couple of Man City shirts (even Man City jacket with a United shirt), couple of Chelsea. If it's "global market penetration" they want, I didn't see it. No real adverts or branding.
  4. So it's come to this - clubs buying and selling players for absolutely no reason, other than to meet some arbitrary rules that aren't universally enforced
  5. It's tw@ts like this that make me perfectly fine with going back down to the champo
  6. No. I mean us. The oil cheats don't enter into my thinking.
  7. In the Bangkok airport and City have a stall. The shirts are beyond hideous. Really leaves a sour taste. Unfortunately can't upload pics but look for the NEVER GIVE UP shirts.
  8. Funnily enough, I'm currently in Thailand and seen the branding. The links to the king via the use of the name have got my eyebrows raised. Really uncomfortable with club management these days.
  9. Am on holiday and checked the score this morning. Am I right in thinking he played the same team as the previous games?
  10. He decided a life of tea cups and pirate ships was better than politics
  11. Well, it's just a shame that we were playing the Danes, who are used to the humidity
  12. "The lads showed great character and controlled the game"
  13. Feels a bit daft to have spent too much time looking at Potter but at least he's in before the season starts. But with ticket prices as they are, I'll have to back him from afar
  14. That's not a Mini Cooper
  15. Said to a mate - Scotland finishing with anything more than 1 point in the group is a success
  16. This is it. I've seen people say it's XYZ for gig tickets but I don't see the equivalent. Let's say Bruce Springsteen at £80 or so. You'll get him for 2 hours, plus a support and guaranteed entertainment. £60 to watch a football game that might be absolutely dreadful, your team lose and only has 60 minutes of in play action is poor VFM. That's before you get to £30 admin fee.
  17. Hard to care now, after the prices came out.
  18. Think I'll bow out for this, just on principle. Cheapest ticket £33, + about £20 in petrol + nonsense admin fee. That would do me 5 games at my non league down the road
  19. Reform votes are most likely young men but they're also the least likely to vote
