  1. Don't worry the wheels have fallen off.
  2. I'd imagine the large increase overall in non league football attendances over the past few years is a result (in part) to the growing disillusionment among fans about top level football in this country.
  3. I'd be amazed if rudkin has any idea of the feeling some of the fans have towards him, they all seem to be in their own little bubble. I doubt they really care too much what division they're in as long they keep their cushy jobs.
  4. Pretty sure most of us were saying that more than a decade a go. The problem we have is we took all the worst part of american culture, if you have attended an MLS game you'd realise its not like going to watch an NFL game. I'd be quite happy to have legal pyro, terraces, cheap tickets, cheap beer in the stands, ultras allowed to sell tickets to like minded fans, close ties with owners of the club...all available at MLS clubs.
  5. I can imagine the old dears getting giddy over an opening day trip to Hull.
  6. I think it ends with a lot of us doing other things and leaving the happy clappers in peace to applaud being a midtable championship club.
  7. Is there anyone who's actually played the game in charge of VAR?, surely anyone who's played the game knows that's a red.
  8. Never really understood the appeal of biopics when they're often numerous really good documentaries out there.
  9. Yet they beat us twice, easily, without breaking a sweat.
  10. wednesday get screwed over so many times you'd think their fans would be more dubious about any new owners, but they seem to accept anyone with open arms. Just acceptance and apathy throughout.
  11. It seemed to stem for his fareshare charity work, his profile was raised so much.
  12. Their fans (well at least some) don't think so, quite the opposite, they see VAR as trying to stop them progressing.
  13. My nephew is a Forest season ticket holder, I'm made up for him to see his club at Wembley, lots of fans never get that chance. Hope they make top 4 too. I should say if it wasnt for my nephew, I of course would happily see them sink.
  14. Yeah its incredible how fortunes can change. I believe Tamworth had a +3 goal advantage over Coalville to gain promotion.
  15. Remember they only went up on goal difference above coalville, now tamworth have a chance of league football and coalville are at step 6. So next season their could be 6 divisions between them.....in just 3 seasons.
  16. Fans agreeing with the bans, pretty much sums up english supporters.
  17. I's the pull of London. A lot of Americans won't know anything exists outside of London, despite the rise of wrexham, London has the pull, many assume any club based there can become huge. Added to this the franchise for the european league, london would be key there too.
  18. Really? How long have you been going to games?
  19. Well colour me surprised. US-based consortium close to ambitious £18m takeover of Leyton Orient | Leyton Orient | The Guardian
  20. looks like the UB had some spare stickers.
  21. Just box ticking, they were never going to listen.
  22. I think they went pro in 1975. Needed to get past 5 teams (4 matches 2 leg's), to win the European cup in 1979 against teams like AEK athens, Grasshoppers and Malmo....you can only beat what's in front of you, but lets face it, back then the european cup was much easier to win.
  23. So could the manager. Plenty of jobs about. You realise its abuse of power?
