  1. Remember teenage me being absolutely buzzing about that one, and being strangely fixated on him beating ex-England keeper David James to do so. It was also during the Ricardo era. Not the current one, the washed up goalie. We don't talk about THAT Ricardo era.
  2. You must have ended up on Rodgers' page. Heard he edits it himself.
  3. It is incredibly annoying that this laughable Forest team are more than likely going to spawn their way to another year in the top flight, purely because there was a glitch in the matrix and three League One teams got promoted last year instead. Though the scenes if Luton do pick enough up to pip them will be glorious.
  4. I came back to FoxesTalk and we won you all have to kiss me now (watford doesn't count apparently)
  5. Been away a few weeks, what on earth has happened? We got the real FoxesTalk back it seems.
  6. Interesting to see what reception Vardy gets. He ascended to godlike status for the Wednesday fans I know after that goal and shithousing in front of Sheff United's kop end.
  7. Needs a challenge system like tennis. Captain or manager can make it at a dead ball, final say on whether to proceed with it goes to the manager, time limit on both (10 seconds maybe). Two per game, with them being kept if the challenge is successful, to minimise it being used as a time wasting method. Would actually give a captain an on-field purpose besides being a bit louder and flipping a coin.
  8. Leeds go 2 up and Ipswich take the lead within a few minutes. We'll have to just focus on ourselves. Piroe for Leeds again as well. Still think we dropped the ball not signing him, but hopefully Cannon is a good alternative 👍
  9. Yeah we would never...
  10. Realtalk though, are there any leaders in that Spurs squad to drag them out of it if they start to spiral? Can't see any in there. There haven't been for a number of years. We've got players doing darts celebrations in honour of Madders when they score. Is he their leader now? The same fella who had his head in the sand all last season for us and spent more time arguing on Twitter than letting the football do the talking? Easy to be all lads and vibes when you're winning. The slightest hint of pressure and they fold like an origami turd. I can see them going on a bad run now they've been brought back down to earth.
  11. It's happening again
  12. we are good at football
  13. Forest lurkers on this forum sweating profusely
  14. In this system I wouldn't mind giving him a year's extension in January to play backup e.g. in the cup and if injuries to others occur. I expect Souttar to move on, so that only really leaves Faes and Coady as out-and-out CB options. Agree that we should be looking for someone more mobile to replace him though. Depends if he'd want to do that after being frozen out once before. His performances this season are surely putting him in the shop window for some sides, so I imagine behind the scenes we're weighing up whether an extension would make sense purely so we can get a fee. There are probably teams in other European leagues that can see his skillset would work in a slower paced league, or he might even acknowledge that this is his level and be willing to go to another relegated side like a Sheff United or a Burnley.
  15. So what you're saying is - being a Leeds fan is a mental illness? Explains a lot to be fair.
  16. That second goal is exactly the sort of spawny luck that kept Forest up last year, annoying they're still getting it. That said, Villa have been awful
  17. Imagine scoring four times in the last 20 minutes of a match and still being that far off winning.
  18. Great atmosphere in SK1
  19. I've seen my fair share of Ice Hockey games, both here and in Canada, and I've never seen anything like it. It's just absolutely awful. I've had the displeasure of seeing the incident back more times than I'd ever want to on Elon Musk's cesspit of a website - practically unavoidable with how the algorithm forces things on you nowadays and doesn't even bother to try applying graphic content filtering before showing you. Searched for the NHL before? Here's a man getting his throat cut. A truly horrible thing to have pushed into your feed and a really damning indictment of how badly that website has been allowed to degenerate over the past year or so. All I'll say is - in all my years watching, I've never seen a player's skate end up that high off the surface unless they were being up-ended by another player, which Petgrave certainly wasn't. There's an argument to be made that the other player (Nieminan?) was checking him to put him out of sight and throw him off balance, but I'm not so sure. He had his eyes on Johnson the whole time, didn't even challenge for the puck. It's not unknown for legs to end up high, but he was leading with his, which I've never seen happen in my life without the player meaning to. I don't believe for one second there was any intent to actually do him any serious damage, but to call it reckless is an understatement, not least with the Malarchuk incident such common knowledge to those who love the sport. Rough-housing is very much a part of Ice Hockey, and perhaps the aim was to knock Johnson off his feet and start a scrap, but the moment he lifts his leg he was playing with fire. The result was a tragedy and, unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if there are criminal proceedings brought against Petgrave regardless of the true intentions. It's a dangerous sport as it is - but I'm not sure the law is going to look on it favourably if there was even a hint of intent to kick him, which it's hard to see it as anything but from the footage. Makes me think of the worryingly common occurence of blokes throwing one punch outside a pub, killing the other person and going to jail for manslaughter.
  20. Do it! I only wish I could get back there, but alas a trip back to Canada is a long way away for me at the moment. Perhaps for the 2026 World Cup! This is a great angle - and that chant has to claim the assist.
  21. Pearson will be going one of two places: - Brum after they sack Rooney - Sheffield Wednesday for their Great Escape.
  22. Forge FC won their fourth title against Cavalry FC in the Canadian Premier League final yesterday. Tristan Borges with this banger to win it in extra time. My man meant that. 🔥 https://streamin.me/v/71080d07
