  1. Not sold on Carsley but would 100% take him if it meant the back of RVN. At least Carsley has a modicum of understanding and interest in the game.
  2. Came to post the same. That goal/performance/selection/moment was the most pathetic thing I've seen on a football pitch, ever. And yet perfectly summarised the player, season and club as a whole.
  3. RVN could fall out with his own shadow. He's made enemies throughout his career, usually with colleagues too. Winks is clearly a bad egg but a decent manager could (has) made good use of him. All being well, neither will need to be anywhere near Leicester next season.
  4. Yes he beat Leicester twice this season. Beating us in 24-25 shouldn't count on anyone's record.
  5. Andy Cole or Dwight Yorke would be my predictions. Maybe Matt Le Tissier. Only in the unlikely event of RVN leaving of course. I feel like a narrow defeat to the champions elect will buy him another 5 or 6 months
  6. He'll be delighted with a 1-0 loss. Genuinely. That's one of his best results as a manager.
  7. He'd end up with one leg
  8. It's only right that he doesn't get to hide away from today's battering. Hopefully another own goal or 2 in the hope he one day realises that our clubs demise correlates with his time here
  9. That reads like a total overreaction. But it really isn't. I genuinely think Ruud picks Faes because he'll share some of the fan's abuse. They're both spineless losers.
  10. I believe we should be a competitive Premier league club. Life isn't always that straightforward, so I can accept being a competitive team outside the top division. What I can't accept is a team with no identity or positivity or direction, which happens to mirror the club as a whole. We are currently an absolute abomination of a football club and to accept anything like what we're currently being served would be moronic.
  11. He most certainly isn't devastated! No one at the club is, which is astonishing but true. At best he's not bothered, but I actually think he's loved being over paid and under played, whilst having LOLs in front of a camera crew as much as possible. An embarrassment of a club captain. To think we had the likes of Wes Morgan, Steve Walsh, Schmeichel and Matt Elliott lead us not so long ago...
  12. Yes. He needs sacking yesterday.
  13. We should buy him, overfeed him, ruin him and the let him go for free. Again.
  14. Forgot how fun this sport can be!
  15. Yes, I get the impression that the club is one b8g echo chamber. A recipie for disaster, which I fear is far from finished.

    Depression

This sounds a lot like me. I don't have any answers. I left my family thinking it'd fix some of the problems you mention. But it hasn't. I'm just as lost and bored, but now lonely too. If that maybe helps a bit?!
  17. Auto renewed because of DD. I'd not be there next season otherwise. I'm as apathetic and lazy as everyone else at the football club and I actually do feel like a tiny part of the problem as a result. I doubt I'll go to many games next season and it'll likely be my last. I have more important and enjoyable things going on in my life now.
  18. I was watching the Peter Taylor lcfc project unravel. They feel like heady times right now.
  19. McAteer will go when we get anything above that measley £10 million offer from Jan. His stock has soared since then 🔥
  20. I cannot remember the last time I looked at a squad list wishing the vast, vast majority weren't here. Maybe the revolving door days around 2004-08 but even then there was the hope of some coming good! To be fair Iain Hume and Patson Daka are probably on a par. We just pay these players £100k per week now...
  21. "Hey Top, we've just broken a football league record!!"
  22. Do we boycot all remaining games bar one, and go absolutely toxic at that match?
  23. Yep. Cooper was awful. We didn't deserve a single point we got under him. The recruitment was so bad it'll cripple the club for the next 5 years. The football was woeful and we'd have been comfortably relegated if he'd stayed. The mistake was appointing someone far, far worse than him.
  24. Whatever the opposite of rose tinted glasses are, take them off... You are witnessing the worst lcfc manager in our 140+ year history.
  25. Yeah I think it'll be more than City, but reckon Newcastle ease off for the last 30 or so. I'd go 0-3, maybe 0-4.
