  1. Huge appointment. Will likely set the tone for the next few years and maybe beyond. Our next championship season won't be as easy as the last
  2. Good news. Tough gig for whoever comes in but we're good enough to stay up (just).
  3. I'm delighted this has come up because I was debating top 10 PL strikers with some mates on Friday. They were just about in agreement that Vardy was top 10 but when it got to Drogba we disagreed. I think as a "PL striker" Vardy edges it. They disagreed. Thoughts?? I appreciate it's a close one!! Rooney was better than Vardy. Kane...debatable. Won nothing and went to Germany. Another close call. Anyway...Vardy or Drogba?
  4. Worrying that it's now 15 weeks on the bounce of "working harder". How ****ing slack were things 4 months ago and at what point will we be working hard enough to look like a competitive and drilled football team?
  5. We've not got any great CBs but this guy isn't even in the top 2
  6. One of our best today. Still looks like he's playing at 70% but maybe that's just how he goes. He's a better player than Skipp and we spent just as much on him...🥴
  7. We have played 14 games of football this season and have been the better side over 90 mins in exactly 0 of them. He is out of his depth. We are going down if he stays. And he knows both of those things himself. The only thing that's changing is the teams increasing lack of belief. There is no identity, no game plan and no hope. Thanks for coming, and trying, but it's time to go. Absolutely no hard feelings if he does what's best for the club and takes the exit door.
  8. I wonder if there's a Leicester fan anywhere in the world that wouldn't include Vardy. Like literally a single person. Surely not?!
  9. Temptation is to mix it up and go to the late 90s squad, but it simply has to be 4 from the title winning squad. Vardy, Kasper and any other 2, but I'd go Morgan and Albrighton for sticking with us and the FA Cup win.
  10. Decent guy away from the touchline but horrible on a match day. Increasingly so as time went on
  11. An lcfc twitter page had a clip from 2015-16 on it the other day and it gave me goosebumps, even 8 years on. I totally forgot football could make me feel like that.
  12. We'd be mad to turn down Moyes or Potter if they had an interest. 10 times what the current manager is But anyone with a philosophy that had a modicum of positivity will do
  13. No chance he goes after this. Free hit. Same as the 4-0 loss next game. It'll be Xmas and 20th place before we act.
  14. In 2 sentences you've already surpassed Cooper's tactical potential
  15. Now go and win it you useless fannies
  16. We are a springboard for other shit teams. Disaster and we're 100% playing in the Championship next year unless something drastic changes.
  17. Let's be honest, he was terrible tonight. Nothing came off for him
  18. He's being dominated week in, week out. I've always liked him as a player but it's obvious he's seen as our weak link by all opponents
  19. What worries me is that I genuinely don't think there is a philosophy, or even a set up or game plan. I imagine him selecting an 11 and telling them to "get out there and give it your all". He's a dinosaur
  20. If I was part of a recruitment team, the first thing I'd look at is effort and work rate. It's frustrating that this doesn't even appear to be an essential quality at lcfc anymore.
  21. I agree with the people who are happy we won, but downbeat at how poor we look in many areas.
  22. It'll be bad but I don't think they'll get close to double figures
  23. I'd take a good manager for a year or two over a shit one. We can worry about identity once we've established ourselves back in this league.
  24. Really interesting read but not sure it identifies how we actually approached, or planned to approach, the game? I just can't see a style or philosophy at all. Copper seems to make poor decisions before and during games. The only glimpses of positivity we get are when a player seems to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and we show a bit of fight. But then the manager quickly sees to that by pulling whoever looks most dangerous.
  25. Not gonna lie, I was expecting a blank post. Will happily give it a read though because I spent 90 mins absolutely lost on what our approach was
