I stopped reading after 1. That'll be nightmares for the next month. Cheers lcfc

Bertrand was a good example of the club totally neglecting what had made us so successful. A money grabbing, selfish, injury prone joke who couldn't have cared less about the club. Soumare is a similar example, but at least looked to have potential. Ward...with another keeper we'd have stayed up. I'll never understand how he was selected. Or even a professional footballer. Which I guess takes us to Rodgers, who I still often think may have actually accelerated the club's demise for his own good. He was good for a few years though!

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

My god. We're still in an era where a missed penalty defines a player's 5 year career at a club. I forget shit like that sometimes. -

He's also the reason we weren't relegated in March. Also won an FA Cup and Community Shield here. I didn't say applaud him taking a corner. I said don't boo him, and it'd be absolutely pathetic if anyone did so, in my opinion. -

Can we please not boo Maddison. Of the 22 players on the pitch, he'll have done the most for this club, and especially during that disaster of a season. -
10 mill for a year is pretty eye watering

Am I the only one who hates these types of tweets? I'm imagining 20 other clubs now piling in. Please happen 🙏

We've missed out here. He'll do well

He's a pure arsehole but we need whatever we can get and this is better than most. I'm hopeful we get it done.

Thank you. I'm nervously excited about the proposition, but it's likely going to be out of my reach financially anyway. Appreciate the advice 🙏

Hello. I'm in the market and weighing up 2 very different properties. One is seemingly very straightforward but the other needs a lot of work. It's stuck in the 1980s but aesthetics are generally OK for me to slowly tackle. However, I do need some advice on the following, please, if anyone is in the know... - the layout is not great. A very small kitchen and no open plan living spaces. All the internal walls are solid. What are the likely issues, costs, timings for knocking a couple of walls through? Would it even be possible? - electrics, et.al. A smaller issue but clearly nothing has been touched for decades. It feels like a very well built house, but are there likely to gebe hidden issues with other such aspects? Any help much appreciated. It's a big project and I've no experience or expertise, but if I could make it work then I'd be very happy there I think. Thank you

I think, in all honesty, Buonanotte is a better player and with more first team experience. Hopefully I'm wrong.

This does not make enjoyable reading!

How the **** have we let that happen?

This club confuses me so much

I was hoping for Jackson on loan. This is less exciting.

"Steve Cooper is enjoying a superb festive period as his Swansea side cruised to a third straight win at home to Leeds. Cooper joined the swans in November after a torrid spell as Leicester City manager, with the club sat on -7 points."

It's starting to look a lot like a year of just accumulating as much PL money as possible and then trying to be a competitive football team further down the line.
-
I think the problem is we need about 5 BANGS!!! between now and 10 days' time. Oh and the fact that we've not signed someone new that improves our XI for over a year!

Premier League 24/25 Pre-season guff (misc talking points)
sdb replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
We were 5th on that squad value table 24 months ago. You'd do well to decimate a club on purpose as badly as the owners have done recently. -
The silence is deafening!

I suspect the footballing world (including the donkeys running our own club) have realised we'll be shopping in the bargain bin this summer. No one wants to join a club destined for relegation before a ball's been kicked. We just need to build a squad of anyone willing to get humiliated on a weekly basis.

We are such a poorly run club! How is a keeper of this ability going to end up leaving for about £1 mill?! We seem unable to look beyond 12 months in advance at Leicester, as seen on so many occasions in recent years.
