  1. Can we move these last posts somewhere else? This thread should be about the great man only.
  2. I thought the law changed to say that the ball hitting the hand is now a penalty even if it's obvious that the person isn't moving their hand towards the ball - it's whether it's in an unatural position or not. The one yesterday his arm swigging in a natural way to how he was moving so it wasn't a pen.
  3. If it's the one on the first half I remember thinking it wasn't a penalty and would have been livid if given against us. His hand had a natural movement.
  4. Have to say he's really turned it around. An asolute concrete block. The jigsaw of him saying "I'm choosing to stay with us" is being backed up with his performances Becoming quietly a legend.
  5. I really like him in the side. He drops deep, is good on the ball although not spectacular. I just feel his physicality is a proper weapon but he's quite creative at the same time. I can see why Cooper picks him in the side even against inferior opposition.
  6. I'm always a bit cautious with stats like this as you can literally find any stat to find your narrative. Having said that - it's a feeling, and if I was to try and put it into words it's not just his inability to see the attacking creative youth we have. I really do think he's putting 99% of everything into his reputation and not what's right for the club. This makes me think are the people above him doing the same? Seems to me he's been hired as a 'buffer' yes man. Win games and we're all as stupid as anything and will be lauding him. Until that point I'll be asking many questions. Gut instinct tells me he has to go quickly and the club is rotten to the core.
  7. Yeah you're probably right sadly.
  8. I think Cooper is doubling down now. I think if this goes badly today he'll be gone. He's not learning.
  9. Still got an adult and U12 available for today in A1. £20 for pair.
  10. Edit
  11. Adult and U12 available in A1. £40 for pair. PM me if interested.
  12. This only highlights what I knew already. Cannon has potential but the gulf between the Championship and the PL is probably the biggest in the world.
  13. How much does a plane tow advert cost? Let's chip in together for this to be picked up on Saturday by the TV cameras. Imagine the air pollution and materials needed to do it too! They could circle the KP for 90 mins!
  14. I feel that 99.9999999% of people want peace and love with their neighbours. The more people I speak to as I get older, given the opportunity to travel a bit and have a bit more wisdom than I had in the past - I tend to ask more important questions. Humanity I believe is very forgiving and positive. For some reason the media and people in power don't want that narrative.
  15. I'm watching on Sky News.
  16. A lot of those missiles look like they're getting through and hitting don't they? Big orange glows on impact or is that just the debris landing?
  17. He hit it with his right foot.
  18. What an absolute nightmare Selby must be to play against. He can not be in form at all and still dig out wins from any situation which must put the opposition player under so much more pressure. When he's potting well he's simply unplayable. Best temperament of all time?
  19. Remember space tourism is a thing these days...
  20. Academy mini bus driver. He'd have it parked on the 6 yard box before you know it.
  21. Which ironically happened at first under Taylor!
  22. It's not untill you look at the stats you realise we were lucky not to be on the end of a Premier League record.
  23. How do you mean? Might not have been on sky sports news but he's been appointed the manager of Bedlington, one of the many clubs he played for. It's happened recently as in it's his first game as manager tomorrow. Good luck Trev! Can I say I'm lucky enough to live close to him. Absolute legend of a bloke. Does loads for the local community and lives and breathes football. He's got a soft spot still for Leicester too.
  24. Good luck Big Trev with his first game tomorrow as Bedlington Terriers manager against Sunderland RCA.
