I thought he was a liability first half coming deep and trying to hold up the ball after receiving it from the defence (Kelchi the best in the squad at this IMO) Birmingham knew this and you could see their game plan was to get close to him and time after time they dispossessed him creating very good chances for themselves. However, second half he moved further up the pitch and we were treated to a master class of working in tight spaces. I don't think I've seen someone whip the ball out to the wing from that forward position like he did for us, maybe Madders from time to time. Usually players are driving forwards from much further back and play forward diagonal passes to the wingers but Yunus managed to suck everyone into a more forward position and then played a more 90 degree pass out wide which left their shape all over the place. He did this a few times so it was intended. Nightmare for the defence as if they keep watch on the wingers he is allowed to weave more magic in the centre but it they all come in and protect the centre he has the ability to take 3 or 4 players out of the game with unbelievable quick feet and pass accuracy. Second half yesterday shows we have potentially a very dangerous player on our hands offering us something completely different.

Has Praet dyed his hair? He had a bit of a bad guy look about him from Flash Gordon. -

Yunus is a liability in midfield and Praet is nonexistent. Yunus inability to keep hold of the ball is giving them many clear cut chances. Worrying squad depth in midfield. These no good for Championship let alone Premier League. -

I really like the look of Nelson. Think he's going to be big for us in the future. -

Coady's movement looks like one of the oil tankers out in the Red Sea! -
Are you on about the Cov guy?

Look at how much the Brighton fans are salivating over this, especially at £30m. We need to keep hold or up the price significantly. https://www.northstandchat.com/threads/kiernan-dewsbury-hall.406054/

Maresca has gone on record saying how important it is to have the local boys playing. KDH genuinely loves the club. I'm hoping these two things combine and are greater than the need to sell for our financial situation. If we do sell now, the swiss cheese holes are starting to align more and more.

Got one in the ballot for this. I'm wondering with it being on Sky and a Friday night it might make all members anyway...

Not providing a specimen is more serious offence than actually being proven drunk at the wheel isn't it? Thing is a driving ban and fine doesn't hit him like it would your average person. He will probably get a fine which will be a few hours of pay and if he's banned for a year he'll be able to afford comfortable private transport easily. Your average Joe would be on the bus or cycling everywhere. Seems a bit unfair that.

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

A right kick in the love nuts that. Picked up 2 points against them but it feels like we've lost both. Almost identical games. Like we're stuck in some sort of Groundhog Day! -
Yeman Houthis are sympathetic with Hamas and Palestine and are being funded and armed by Iran. They are claiming that they are targeting Israeli linked ships with missiles going through the narrow strip of water by them (which happens to be one of the most important shipping lanes in the world) but it seems they're just attacking any Western ships (even firing at a russian oil tanker!) So perhaps a degree of ineptitude too!... The goods we buy from the far East and Asia have had to be travelling around South Africa instead, instead of cutting though the Red Sea, making it more expensive for Europe to buy goods as it's a longer fuel sapping journey. US and UK told them to stop firing at the ships numerous times or else. They haven't and have since targeted American ships. US and UK bombed their capabilities to fire missiles the other week. Houthis getting more angry and not backing down so they are being attacked again tonight.

Most physical and pressing I think I've seen us all season. Only thing missing at the moment is the finishing, it been absolutely woeful.

If Trump gets in again I can honestly see it being the event that causes the start of WW3. Russia will try and take over Eastern Europe after USA pulls out of NATO.
-
Please tell me we've got someone called Danny in the coaching staff. Enzo in the presser pointed to the experience of Willy and "Danny on the bench" pulling the strings when he's in the stands tomorrow . It's not Danny Ward he's on about is it? Edit** Danny Walker - of course!
-
So KDH is likely injured. Looks like it'll be Choudhury, Winks and maybe Yunus/Praet tomorrow.

We can talk until the cows come home but there's no way, absolutely zero chance that Rudders gets the chop while Top's here. The best we can hope for is a change of job role or some new structural/ethos change in the way we do decision making as a club. Having had a 'review' at the start of the season into last season's horror show and seemingly nothing really has changed, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Saw Praet at a soft play today leaving by ambulance. Did his hammy climbing up the 'slide of doom'. I asked him how long he'd be out for... he said he'd already done both ankles on the 'spinning ladybird' so anywhere between 2 to 3 years or end of contact, which ever came sooner....

Can't find the lineups for this Reading game... -
Man City look phenomenal.

Maresca really didn't handle the red card well tactically. Pretty concerning we had only one striker in the squad. To take off player of the month Mavadidi when Fatawu had been sent off was such a poor decision.

I would have Praet on for Casedai as Praet could work the midfield and right.
