  1. No, that's how it's been for last 30 mins. Edit just come on for me now
  2. I think Ifollow might have kicked in.
  3. They would delay the game for a Sky fault.
  4. 15 mins of highlights of the recent teams games would be better than Cricket biography. Sky would have the rights no doubt and would take an editor minutes to hack up. Just seems lazy from Sky this...
  5. Wonder when Alves or Braybrooke will make the squad. Maybe after Christmas perhaps...
  6. If Cannon doesn't come on today and Nacho has a stinker then I give up. What's the point of him even being signed or on the bench. He wasn't even cheap.
  7. Interesting reading old articles too. We're nearly at the halfway point of when this article was written for 2050. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4091068.stm I'm not a gardener or tree person so not sure if these predictions are starting to play out...
  8. Who was it who said global warming was good as it'll boost tourism by turning the UK into the new Mediterranean? I'm thinking Boris but it might have been someone else.
  9. I wouldn't mind, on my night theme it was glowing white hot with all the dodgy formatting copied across. Can't believe I still fell for it!
  10. Oh FFS, @Lambert09 remove this post 😂
  11. Yeah fair points you make there. Maybe I'm wanting everything instantly and there's a lot he's built already that deserves a lot of praise. It'll be interesting to see how he navigates a rocky patch with his fan/media and player relations/interactions though. He's not really been tested much yet.
  12. Ahhh I've been done there!
  13. I think the reason why Rodgers lasted so long was that he did often manage to throw in an exceptional performance when we had played particularly poorly and he needed it. These got fewer and fewer until he had totally lost the plot of course... The football we played under Rodgers when he first came in was arguably some of the best we've ever played and it was high bench mark to set going forward. The thing that worries me about Maresca is that we've never actually seen any mind blowing performances or football. Yes, we've picked up points but he's not actually stamped his authority. Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh I don't know.
  14. I don't know, hadn't planned to just came out like that when I was typing.
  15. We were awful though and lucky we didn't lose. They missed loads of gilt edged chances. It's not just that one game, something hasn't seemed right for a while.
  16. I seem to remember his first interview he said that he would be flexible and have to play different systems throughout the season. There have been some small tweaks and there have been occasions where the keeper has gone long but we haven't really changed much really. if there's ever a time to try something new, fresh and exciting it's now.
  17. Well I don't expect to him to, I'm just using the forum to help organise my thoughts and get other opinions.
  18. This is more of a reality check than a moan. I think Enzo's Inexperience as a manager might cause him some big problems over the festive period and into the new year. If he doesn't adapt, it's going to be a baptism of fire for him! I'm not saying it's right and even if you think you're personally brimming with patience the collective fans are as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning - play like we did last night in Sheffield at home a few times and the fans will run out of patience very quickly and start to turn on both the players and Enzo which will not be pretty. It's like we're just catching the edge of the whirlpool now... It comes with the territory with this style - it's just about palitble if we're winning games and top of the league, but I'm telling you now, as soon as we start losing a few at home playing with zero urgency the fans will make their feelings known. It's such a dangerous spiral and I witnessed this last year - first it's the few moans and groans and then it gets to the point where the whole team is getting pulled down the plug hole like a drenched limp spider. The players confidence is totally shot but still cruelly playing a style which requires 100 % squad confidence and cohesion so things just keep getting worse and worse. Remember those two home games just before Rodgers got the chop? That was the sound of the last reminemts of the water gurgling down the plug hole. Rodgers was a bit more savvy and experienced than Enzo and spent about 2 years stuck battling the water current, he tried his hardest to wiggle his way out of it by throwing people/owners into the water flow to create a hug dam, but the pull of the water down the plug hole takes a pathetic little man like Brendan no problem in the end. Enzo. Please don't fall into a false sense of security and think the fans will just lap up dire performances because you've had some good results early on. Please understand that the very football you play is like a red flag to a bull when things aren't going well. Be prepared to go back to basics, know how to appease the fans. I do worry for you and I wish you luck.
  19. Possibly one of the most worrying performances I can remember in a while. If we were playing a half decent team we'd have shipped 4 so far! Many look half asleep!
  20. It's the Championship which is 10 times less of an achievement than being top of the bottom half of the premier League. For the people moaning at the people moaning, I find it remarkable that so many think we're like some sort of amazing team that are on a special journey. We were favs to win this league and we are comfortable - it would have been more odd if we weren't top. We'd be butchered in the Premier League next season with this squad but hopefully players can develop and we can have a decent couple of transfer windows.
  21. Ridiculous yellow card. He'd have wasted more time if he'd not touched the ball. To be fair the ref was consistent though and did book one of their players moments later for the same thing, although more deserving of it I think.
  22. The advertising boards are so distracting at Brentford. I swear the companies are using more movement than they did in the past. It makes me feel sick. Needs to be better regulated. Static adverts only.
  23. Exactly what the game doesn't need.
  24. Elliott saying that Nacho has looked sharp most of the game. Not sure what game he's watching!
  25. I agree. It's tolerable when the results come but if they continue to nosedive I think the fans will get on their backs quite quickly. It's just human nature.
