Having seen Chaplin over the last few games up close I'd say he's definitely struggled to adapt to the way we play. For example, against Málaga BDCR was getting a bit frustrated with him with the offensive press and was having to orchestrate it quite directly with him at times. It was interesting as a lot of managers have said how intelligent BDCR is and he did look like he knew Martin's system well, but that made me think is BDCR one of those footballers that play the system well, but don't have that a bit of freedom , flair or 'know how' to basically catch the eye? He seems like a bit of a teachers pet! I don't think you hit the numbers Chaplin did last time in L1 playing in a rigid system, so I'm wondering if Brussell will A: turn him into one of his rigid robots B: See him as the one to have a bit more freedom/ creative license at the expense of the offensive press. I'd be interested to know why his numbers diminished at Portsmouth so much compared to that outrageous L1 campaign he had.

Me and my lad have come out to visit southern Spain and watch the football 2 in1! Have to say having the hire car was the game changer as we're staying high up in the mountains and could reach Algericas, Marbella, Málaga or even Seville all under 2 hrs from where we are. I had considered just staying in Algericas in a hotel and feel for those people who have done that - I spoke to a few at the game who had. On a side note, this part of Spain is off the scale amazing. Especially up here in the mountains, not a person speaks English and the villages are like what you'd expect in a Hollywood portrayal of rural Spain! They're so friendly too. Interestingly the locals where I am all say that Cadiz is the gem and the place to go over anywhere else.

The ground in Algericas was the most run down place you could imagine. Like somewhere you'd imagine stumbling across in Chernobyl!
