What worries me with Deano is that the board must have found him to be a 'Yes' man and didn't ruffle any feathers - exactly what we don't need. -

Just the way I read it was it sounded you were sure on the appointments just unsure about the timing. -

One thing that surprised me with Dean Smith was the attacking setup he employed. Always had him has being quite cautious but some of those games he managed we were bordering on gung-ho. -

Ignore the odds. Big Nige has come in from 25/1 to 16/1 and I was getting ready to walk barefooted to Leicester with a candle but then realised most bookmakers have closed the markets leaving just very short odds with all managers from one remaining bookmaker. -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Collymore replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not sure if there's many like me that can't listen to the Leicester feed and usually goes to the away stream instead? We seem to be the only club that goes to the studio talking BS with robot man and the ex-players who must be hooked up to KP administered electric shock machine... Other streams just have the players warming up and the fans pouring in which is more enjoyable... Add to that, even though he's a club legend, Matt Elliott on commentary has to be one of the worst fits going! Anyway, I digress... It was hilarious when Ayew came on yesterday the Birmingham commentators were like "things can't get worse for Leicester can they? Yes they can - they're bringing Ayew on!" It took me a while to remember the link that he played for Villa. At first I genuinely thought they were just making a point how s**t he was in general 😂 -
Needs to be King sent to the stands Wenger style after losing his s**t collectively with the players.
-
What are people fighting over? KPFC? Vaping in peoples faces is the only thing I can think of that might warrant a stern word.
-
Apart from the same ridiculous setup as previous managers, he doesn't come across managerial at all and sounds deflated and like he's got imposter syndrome. I wouldn't be bouyed playing for him from what I've heard. You've got to have someone who wants the role for a start and come out fighting at least.

How's this guy managed nearly 10 pages of conversation!? Edit - irony at its finest as I actually do push it onto 10 with my pointless post 😂

You're not wrong! -
It's like they're going out of their way now ...

Nothing has changed. Yes some new players in but unless someone comes in and changes the fundamental way we play we're doomed. King doesn't look like he's the one.
-
Thomas has most probably
-
Did Thomas just take a freekick to himself before. Did anyone else see that?
-
Yeah it's obvious recently he's not been visibiliy trying on top of being generally s**t when trying anyway.
-
If he starts Ayew today with no excuse of not seeing him all season then he loses his legendary status in my eyes. Before people start asking who you play, load of options. Hutchinson would be no 1 which isn't going to happen. Mavadidi up top with Monga playing wide second choice. Loan youngsters 3rd choice. Daka 4th choice. Then Ayew so 4 options before him.

Annoyingly if we had turned up against Charlton and Oxford, two easy games on paper we should be winning in first gear, it would be net 0

They smash us 9-0 on our own patch and then sign not one but two of the defenders who helped make that happen. A geriatric Ryan Bertrand whose legs had gone, and £15m for the BP shipping fleet's Jannik Vestergaard. Then they tonk us 5-0 and 4-1 in the same season and decide that one of the stalwarts of that side, strollin' Joe Aribo, now another two years older and three stone heavier, is just the man to inject the fight and passion they'll need for the scrap to stay away from the relegation zone, and offer to take his wages and Gregg's bill off our payroll for the rest of the season. Not only that, but if rumours are to be believed they have also put the man who masterminded those two defeats, Russell 'Call Me Russ' Martin, at the top of their wish list to be their new manager. Then, just for the lols, they put Ralph the 9-0 guy on there as a fallback as well. So, Leicester City, we thank you 🙏. In our darkest days you never fail to bring joy and laughter, and your board increasingly make the clown show running our club look like the pinnacle of strategic excellence. Now, would you like to buy a goalkeeper and a left back? They're both Irish internationals, you'll love them. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/61948-the-leicester-city-appreciation-thread/

As always I'll give him a chance before I make a judgement. Even though his CV looks hideous, some players can sometimes just click at certain clubs.
