I wish he was just terrible so that we can drop him and move him on. He has some very good attributes which tricks our managers into putting faith in him but he's incredibly unreliable.

Bristol City 1 - 0 LCFC Post Match Thread

We were worse when Hamza came off, worse in possession and worse defensively. -
This club man...

I feel sick

He was good at the start of the year but quite bad recently. Hopefully he can rediscover his form.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Modric on a Cabiasso type deal? Wages are way too high but a man can dream. -
I think it would have, we were already signing average players for ridiculous prices under Vichai and trying too hard to keep our star players when they no longer wanted to be here (Mahrez). These were the core reasons that we are in this mess, Top is just unlucky that these problems bore fruit after he took over. Rodgers would have probably gone sooner under Vichai but that would have only delayed relegation.

From what ive seen Matty James is one of their best players and King doesnt play much.
-
Personally i would prefer nelson over Justin for this game, Justin has been off it recently.
-
He was poor for the first goal but i think he had an ok showing today despite that.
-
I havent seen anything from Cannon to suggest he's a striker that excels at holding up the ball. He seems like more of a pure goalscorer.
-
Justin's been a bit frustrating recently, would have liked Doyle to start the next few championship games instead of him.
-
Pretty sure it's mostly the Algerians who refer to Mahrez as Mehrez, i always assumed it was a kind of variant on the name.

We got 24 points from the last 22 games in the 19/20 season, it wasnt inconsistent, it was consistently lower midtable form for over half the season. For example if we had that form in this PL season we would be between Bournemouth and Crystal palace. The 19/20 season is incredibly overrated, a run of games where Vardy was finishing every chance that landed to him masked the fact that we were poor for the majority of that season.

How did teams like Aston Villa, Fulham, Brighton, Leeds etc get away with spending 100s of millions soon after promotion. Aston Villa in particular have spent more than us and have higher wages.
-
He's scored in our last 2 games consecutively and he's scored our last 3 goals.
-
We're in midtable form, if Enzo cant improve on that with the squad we have then it is his fault. A run of poor form is not the end of the world but he does need to turn it around soon.
-
Similar was said when Rodgers got us fifth in his first season after having a 14 point lead. We have thrown away our points lead on second, Enzo really needs to show he knows how to turn around a poor run of results as he wont leave this season with much credit if we finish 3rd or even second really.

Southampton and west brom are harder

Think callum doyle needs to be first choice, Justin hasnt been good recently.

Burnley's issue was that they tore up their championship title squad from last season, not that the team weren't good enough to make the step up. Who knows, they might have done better this season if they had made less transfers in the summer. Personally i think keeping a conistent core of players from the promotion side is vital to staying up and establishing yourself in the PL. At least 7-8 of our regular starters should be starting next year.

If you dont think that Vardy, Mahrez and Kante were world class then i dont know what to say. Vardy has one of the best scoring records in PL history, Mahrez has been the best player on the pitch in games against the likes of Real Madrid and PSG in the CL and Kante has won pretty much everything in football.
