  1. One moment i enjoyed was his ping across the pitch from left flank to right flank, it was pretty much perfect.
  2. On the bright side the only way is up from here for Casadei. He is a very highly rated talent though, hopefully he will show why soon.
  3. Calling it now, Iheanacho to have a good half after getting his confidence up from the penalty.
  4. I think Southampton would be a better side with no manager at all than Russell Martin. Our game aside it takes some incredibly floored tactics for the a team of Southampton quality to lose 5-0 to Sunderland. Martin could very likely be the first manager out the door.
  5. I love Ndidi so much. I'll be honest i was one of the many fans who were annoyed at Maresca for his new role as an attacking player but he seems to have been on to something. Whether as an 8 or a DM it's always good to see Ndidi playing good football again!
  6. There was a time where he looked class for Spurs in the PL and CL. I think he struggled with injuries and subsequently form, looks to be regaining that initial ability he had when he broke out.
  7. Russel Martin is the worst manager in the league.
  8. Before our title win the last non big 6 side to finish in the top 4 spots was Everton in 2005. It was a miracle for a a non big six side to even get champions league football let alone a newly promoted side and for us to actually win the league was unthinkable. In Forest's era, newly promoted sides (promoted in the last 2 seasons) would break into the top 4 every 3 seasons. The gap between the top teams in the first division and the top teams in the second division was a lot smaller than nowadays. I would actually argue that the gap between Man City and Arsenal/Spurs in recent seasons is bigger than an established 1970s team like Arsenal and a 1970s promoted second division side. It's certainly more of a common occurence in the latter for the weaker side to finish above the established side.
  9. If you are playing Southampton after that 0-9 thrashing anything except for a win is a disappointment. I do not think the logic of your comment makes sense.
  10. This is a real marker point for where we are as a side. Sunderland beat them 5-0 last game, if we have anything about us we should put them to the sword.
  11. So the Maguire abuse is alright because players had to endure racism in the 80s? Sound logic.
  12. People seem to struggle with understanding why Praet is not good enough. Technically he's very good but he doesnt have the positioning. He is usually out of the game because he doesnt understand where to stand to receive the ball and he doesnt anticipate what the opposition are going to do with the ball so he rarely provides any resistance to opposition attacks. Praet running down his contract is a good deal for us. At least Choudhury knows the basics of making himself available to receive a pass and is good at intercepting passes.
