  1. Bamford seems to have played his way back into being first choice for Leeds. Just shows the difference in levels between the PL and the Championship, Bamford was ridiculed in the PL and Piroe was praised in the Championship yet Bamford has ended up on top.
  2. They cooperate on signings but Casadei and Sensi are probably players who Enzo picked out and Glover gave the green light to and players like Mavididi, Yunus, Fatawu, Winks and Coady are probably players who Glover picked out and Enzo gave the green light for. Winks might have been a player maresca requested himself.
  3. On form he is a CL level player, Inter Milan fans said his performances when he first joined were some of the best theyve seen recently from a midfielder.
  4. There's been quite a few players who have struggled at championship level then performed elsewhere. Balogun was mediocre at Middlesborough then got 19 goals in ligue 1 one season later for example.
  5. His positional sense is weak which is one of the most important attributes in a possession side and why he has never done well here apart from as a wide midfielder. He has the technical ability but lacks the football intelligence to give us the control we need from midfield.
  6. For me we just lacked the same amount of control when he played as we had with Ndidi and Dewsbury Hall. Ndidi has missed plenty of sitters this season as well but with the dominance we had it didnt matter as much.
  7. He was a bit disappointing but i think he would have kicked on for the rest of the season with Ndidi out injured.
  8. I have seen some Inter fans say that when he's fit he's as good as Barella and Brozovic, even some saying he is the biggest 'what if' in Inter's recent history. If it's true then getting 10-15 games a season from him would not be the end of the world.
  9. Honestly we do not seem to be very good at making big money transfers. 15m and under is where we seem to excel so not having money to spend should be a blessing in disguise.
  10. Who is going to sign Praet or Souttar for a price we would accept though?
  11. Look at that accuracy, gerrimin.
  12. Ayoze's contract ran out, he would probably still be here if we put him on a 5 year deal.
  13. We have had offers for the likes of Soumare in the past and turned them down. Think there were offers for Praet a few seasons ago as well.
  14. One thing that needs to be considered is that two of the key players in Rodgers's side, Tielemans and Barnes, only got a few games under Puel at the end of his tenure. Tielemans especially added a completely different dynamic to the way we played. Puel was bad as well for the record (playing Demarai Gray as a CF over Jamie fing Vardy) but i dont like how people make out that Rodgers turned Puel's water into wine, give Rodgers a Maddison, Ndidi, Mendy midfield and he would have us struggling low midtable as well.
  15. The difference is that Praet is frankly not very good whereas Sensi by all accounts is a very good player when fit.
  16. I guess that they would be gambling on the fact that we would be desperate to secure CL level experience/talent.
  17. I thought he was only bad for the first 10-15 minutes then he settled in the game despite getting booed by the Coventry fans.
  18. I thought he was one of the few who played well the other day. His work for the casadei chance was excellent
  19. Mavididi has already played multiple seasons in the French top flight and is having a considerably better season than O'Hare. O'Hare has only played championship and league 2 football and he's never had a season where he has shown he can make the step up to the Premier League. If we're going for a player I would much rather go for Sensi who is proven in the Champions League and Serie A but has injury problems than O'Hare who hasn't properly proven himself at Championship level yet.
  20. He's 25, it's not like he's some young gem.
  21. I think if we keep him fit he will be a good PL player and will surprise a lot of our fans. Good ball winner, good passer, always has time on the ball, it has the potential to be a masterstroke for 2 mil.
  22. Could be a shrewd signing where a talented player gets his career back on track or could be a case of us replacing Mendy/Praet where we have a player who's not getting much game time and is looking to leave.
  23. Apart from Stoke we solely played other PL teams and beat Man United and Chelsea. That's about as good of a run as you can expect.
  24. They werent complaining when Burnley and Sheffield United were top of the league last year and look how shit they are in the PL. If we werent in the league everyone would be creaming themselves about the Ipswich, Southampton, Leeds title race, we have just shown everyone the gap between Championship teams that will be fighting for relegation next season (Leeds, Ipswich and Southampton) and a team that will be comfortably mid table.
  25. Ndidi's off the ball movement has been excellent, Soumare's is not. We would be a significantly worse team with Soumare instead of Wilf
