  1. The issue is is that Ndidi usually seems to have a hard time returning to form after coming back from an injury. Hopefully he will be starting and playing his best for us sooner rather than later.
  2. With all the crosses that we put in he could have been a useful tool against low blocks in the second half of the season.
  3. Their left back in that game was far worse than Thomas. Saka went past him like he wasnt there.
  4. We have spent a lot more money on far worse players since we sold Mahrez. I would rather spend 19 mil on an inconsistent but exciting young winger than the 60 mil plus that we spent on duff like Ghezzal, Perez etc.
  5. Just me who thinks he hasnt been bad at all recently?
  6. He just seems a lot more suited to playing off the left than the right, on the left he can put decent crosses in and get on the end of good goal scoring opportunities. I am not sure what he offer when played on the right of midfield.
  7. Pretty sure youre not allowed to drag the ball on a free kick but we take that.
  8. Leeds after beating us at Elland Road
  9. He's got good passing ability, unlike iversen for example, he's just not as calm on the ball as someone like Hermansen. This can be improved with age and experience.
  10. Championship title is a trophy for me. It's not on the level of the FA cup or League cup but it's still something for the history book.
  11. What I like about Enzo is that we score a decent amount of our goals from playing out from the back. Under Rodgers we would play out from the back a lot (pass it sideways between our backline a bunch) but we would rarely ever make a goal out of it, if you look back they mostly start from the opposition making a mistake rather than us opening them up with our passes.
  12. to be fair to him he wouldnt be getting game time for us at his age.
  13. I hope we play our best XI for this.
  14. He's been consistently injured since early 2020 before this season to be fair
  15. He feels a bit like Dewsbury hall to me, he's already 21 and he's not starting for us or even playing regularly when we're in the championship but I think he does have PL potential. I think he follows a similar route where he goes on loan, does well, then come back to push for a starting spot.
  16. His footwork, passing and especially his movement are all good. For me he brings enough to the table to at least consider buying in the summer.
  17. Signing him onto a new contract in the summer has to be one of the first bits of business we do. He's been really good this season.
  18. There's a lot to like on the ball but off the ball he's too brash. Decent first start for him.
  19. I am surprised by Mcateer not being involved, thought this would be a good time to play him.
  20. The Sevilla fans in the comments dont think that their debt situation is bad, we have more even after the write off. They are probably willing to sell their squad because their squad is poor for a club that wants to play and compete in Europe every season.
  21. I think there is a middle ground between the craziness of our tranfer strategy in the years before we went down and teams that will try and put the selling club in a tough position to force a panic sale. Even though the deal didnt go through offering 40 mil for Trincao a couple months after he got sold for 20mil was as bewildering as it got, especially considering how he has turned out as a player.
  22. The issue is that they are actually not skint. Bologna and Sevilla have bought plenty of player in the £10m price range recently and will probably buy multiple players that cost the same as the release clauses for Soumare and Kristiansen in the coming summer. They are just trying to squeeze as much off the transfer price as possible. There are teams in Serie A and La Liga that are struggling but Sevilla and Bologna are not one of them considering they have both spent more than they have sold in recent years.
  23. I think this as well, he didnt seem as desperate to make things happen before then and was a bit more measured with his play, now he's forcing things he paradoxically is doing less.
  24. A big part of that 19/20 collapse under Rodgers was Ricardo Pereira, Ndidi and Vardy's injuries (albeit we should have had midtable form from then on, not relegation). These and Winks are the 3 players in our squad I trust in to do a job no matter the occasion, with Ndidi and Vardy out it's a big worrying but unlike in our most recent seasons i think the quality and level headedness of Ricardo and Winks will be able to get us over the line.
  25. What has Cannon done to make people think he is a better player than Daka? Daka has shown far more this season than Cannon and it's not even close between the two.
