  1. Fair point, dont think there are any
  2. A number of players have already gone back out on loan after terminating/finishing a loan elsewhere. Braybrooke has been playing well for a while, if the plan was to send him to league one we would have had that in the works well before the 31st.
  3. The Ramsey injury will have made the club reassess whether to bring Braybooke back for sure. As much as I would like Page to play regularly in Ramsey's absence the club will probably prefer to have Braybrooke who has been playing and performing regularly and can play any of the 6, 8, 10 positions. It makes too much sense for him to be with us for the remainder of the season.
  4. No reason he couldnt have been on the bench for a league one side today if he was going on loan there, aside from ineptness which with this club is always a possibility. Im predicting he will be with the squad today.
  5. He looks and speaks like a character from a sit com
  6. Abdul can score from 65 yards in a professional game but cant hit the back of the net from 30 yards in a TV challenge
  7. They are owned by an investment firm who saw the amount of money clubs were flipping young talents for but forgot to factor in that the majority of transfers in on inflated fees were being done by Chelsea so by buying Chelsea they didn't have a next club in the food chain to sell to.
  8. Not sure the article says anything new that you couldnt already infer from what Fuchs has already said publicly about Braybrooke. Does Blackwell have any inside knowledge at the club? I think Huddersfield would be a good option for Braybrooke, theyre light in midfield due to injuries and he will have a familiar face in Alves there with him.
  9. Wrote my post after reading this so was going off that as a possibility.
  10. If we're just going to do what we did in 2024 which is make profit on Fatawu and maybe James like we did Dewsbury Hall, then use that money to buy the equivalent of Skipp and Michael Golding, then i would rather we hold onto Fatawu and James. If we do sell Fatawu and James we need to buy players with talent on the cheap that we can sell if they dont work out. It's probably better to leave the pathway open for the academy lads than buy more duds.
  11. The Huddersfield manager said that Alves is back with them before the last game.
  12. I wouldnt be surprised if depending on how serious Ramsey's injury is we are strongly considering bringing one of Alves or Braybrooke back from loan. You would expect the continuation of Braybrooke's loan to have been announced today considering they are playing again on Thursday and Fuchs didn't seem confident when asked about it after the game.
  13. Had a goal and 3 assists in 700 minutes for a relegated Cardiff last season. Would be an upgrade on Mavididi and Ayew at least.
  14. Easy to forget he's only 21, younger than Nelson and Braybrooke. He has his rough moments but he's overall been brilliant and still has plenty of time to get even better.
  15. Braybrooke has also become a lot more creative on the ball in recent games, should have a couple more assists. Fingers crossed for Alves, feels like him and Braybrooke have switched positions with him now struggling on loan (due to his injury) and Braybrooke impressing.
  16. I've said it before but it is astonishing how he seems to consistently get better every week, especially when he was already playing to a high level. You just have to wonder how long he is going to keep improving and whether he will be able to keep up the consistency.
  17. He showed enough in those couple games before his hamstring that i think it's worth sticking by him depending on the severity of his injury. We're threadbare in midfield as it is.
  18. 5 apparently although Im sure there were a few more that he "lost" but did enough to put off the attacker. (Ignore me that stat is from the other game against Derby earlier this season)
  19. It makes our situation even more galling how lucky we have been with our outgoings.
  20. All thanks to me for slagging of Reid for starting
  21. Get ready for losing key players to Wrexham/Coventry in the next couple seasons.
  22. There is a strong correlation between Ayew and Reid starting every game and my growing desire to stop watching this sport.
  23. Let's be clear, if we go up this season we are breaking Derby's record, last time we had our record net spend in the summer on top of a far better and more confident squad and we were still rubbish. This time we will not have much money to spend and what we will spend will go towards players in the Ayew, Reid, Skipp mold I.e. benchwarmers of established PL teams. Much rather have another season in the championship with the likes of Braybrooke, Nelson, Alves, Evans, Hutchinson, Aluko, Page playing a regular part than us go up and watch our current seniors and new recruits stink up the pitch every week.
  24. It's honestly saddening the number of people chomping at the bit to have a go at him on here. Faes has been catastrophic for us yet you still have fans adamant he's our best centreback coming into this season, Vestergaard was worse than Nelson against QPR yet he's still somehow considered one of the best centrebacks in the league by fans. Nelson has one bad game and it feels like he's on his last straw before being completely written off for some. I just cant comprehend why the academy players are held to a higher standard than the highly paid seniors who required a fee to bring in, should be the other way around.
  25. He's statistically one of the best dribblers in the championship already. QPR fans are raving about him after his brief cameo against them, some saying that he is one of the best players they've see at this level. It's only our fans that are strangely negative about him but if he were playing for another championship side we would be saying Monga would be a dream transfer for us. It's this strange effect of the grass always looking greener on the other side of the fence that stops our fans from appreciating what we have.
