  1. Can we cancel his loan? Would rather have him as our starter centre back than any of our current options.
  2. Heads would roll at most clubs for renewing this guy's contract. The fact that we have 10 more instances of similar ineptness and Rudkin still has a job is galling.
  3. Why is anyone complaining that the lineup is shit? We have a shit squad.
  4. 2025/2026 championship winners confirmed!
  5. Any news on Will Alves's injury?
  6. Sadly Cordova Reid and Ayew will probably still start over him in the championship. The club are just addicted to making the wrong decisions.
  7. I dont understand why he thinks his best bet of winning games is starting Cordova Reid and Ayew. The wings are the areas of the pitch where you need to threaten the opposition which they dont offer
  8. If an academy player was having the season that this guy is having we would say he's never going to make it at this level. If the best thing you have to say about a player is that he has loads of top flight appearances, he's usually not up to it.
  9. Genuinely the club is so rotten to have young players like Evans and Monga available whilst having the starting wingers be Ayew and Cordova reid and not even give the first two any first team minutes.
  10. Sheffield United just spent £10mil on Tom Cannon, I am not sure they are the benchmark for a well run club.
  11. Selling Tom Cannon for a profit is some of the best business the club has done in years. Dont know why some of our fans were up in arms about it, he's not very good.
  12. The summer of 2019 when we desperately needed a right winger and spent £30mil on Ayoze Perez and £20mil on Dennis Praet to perenially ride the bench. We had a good run at the start of the season but when Ricardo Pereira got injured we no longer had any ability to attack down our right hand side and it all fell apart. The next season we had another run of form when Castagne came in but if we bought in a proper winger we wouldnt have been so dependent on fullbacks to attack down the wing.
  13. Alves got his first team debut for us at 16. He was our last Academy generation's Monga/Evans but he had a bad injury that set him back. It's not clear who has the higher ceiling between the two if Alves gets his career back on track.
  14. Hopefully he continues and builds on this form for the rest of the season. This club desperately needs a confident and in form Will Alves.
  15. Surely it's especially bad that despite being surrounded by poor players he has arguably been the worst of the lot over the entire season. As a midfielder, more than any position on the pitch, you cant get away by only being as good as the players around you are. It's fine saying that if Winks played alongside a Rodri or a Gravenberch he would look half decent but as a midfielder you have to be able to win your individual battles and Winks doesnt do that.
  16. Soumare has been head and shoulders above Winks and Skipp this season. He's good at carrying the ball and his energy off the ball has improved. Shows how bad our recruitment is that a previous flop is now one of our good ones.
  17. Absolutely horrible season for us. I think he's played his way down the pecking order beneath Skipp now and im not even a fan of Skipp either. Around £35mil for Winks and Skipp, Spurs have had our pants down.
  18. Rodgers had little involvement in our success from 2019-2021, both tactically and motivationally. We already started playing "peak Rodgers ball" in the Brighton game before he had even joined, the style of play just came from Tielemans settling in to the team. When we started losing he was clueless at being able to turn results around as he didnt fundamentally understand why it worked in the first place. The longer he stayed the more he got his grips into the team, the less we took risks on the ball and played attractive football and the more we aimlessly passed it around the back. He was a mediocre/poor manager who is good at picking teams to join when theyre trending upwards.
  19. I dont think Provstgaard is any good anyways but i might be wrong. There's a reason that his team conceded 40 goals in 17 games. He reminds me of Faes, seems to lose his head among the clouds too often. Slotsager does look like a talent. If we're going for Danish centrebacks i would look at Villads Nielsen at Bodo/Glimt, been proving himself in the Europa league.
  20. He was trying to do too much himself at the end of Cooper's time as well.
  21. Is it necessarily a bad thing that a good decision by the club is rewarded with a positive response? I still beleive that there should be a major shakeup at the club but it's not constructive just to project unrelenting negativity even if they make a good decision. If anything if they promote local talent just to appease the fanbase at least it's a step in the right direction.
  22. Monga and Evans getting their first team debut would definitely help the atmosphere around the club. Was hoping to see them against QPR but this would be better than it never happening this season (or maybe ever)
  23. You could see the difference in our coaching and Atalanta's coaching in real time. Every season Castagne was here he transformed further from the sharp, intelligent fullback that he was when he joined to a ponderous, clueless player by the time we were relegated.
  24. Van Nistelrooy - 11 games 7 points Wins - West Ham, Spurs Draws - Brighton Losses - Everton, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Man City, Liverpool, Wolves, Newcastle Cooper - 12 games 10 points Wins - Bournemouth, Southampton Draws - Crystal Palace, Ipswich, Spurs, Everton Losses - Chelsea, Man United, Forest, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Fulham 4 of Cooper's 10 points came from playing the only two teams in this league who are as bad or worse than us. Cooper's time as manager wasnt any better than Van Nistelrooy's.
  25. He speaks well and i would appreciate similar levels of communication here. As one of the bristol rovers fans on twitter said you have to also back up your words, it might just be the sceptic in me but it feels like he says exactly what he thinks the fans want to hear, a bit like Cooper. Anyone would add more direction to the club than rudkin at this point in time though.
