Funky robot is right, Skipp is just not up to it. Choudhury much more assured when he came on.
-
A shining light on a dark day. Miles better than BCDR.
-
Jordan James far too good for this club.
-
We look a lot better with Choudhury and Page in midfield ahead of Skipp and Reid. Hopefully this is the way forwards, Evans instead of Ayew as well while we're at it. Aluko for Thomas as well.

No one's denying that he knows where the goal is but otherwise he is a passenger and is a burden on the rest of the team. We need to replace him with a natural midfielder like Page or Braybrooke or even someone like Logan Briggs who can handle the ball better under pressure. Yes you dont get as many goals but it would mean our defence is threatened by the opposition a lot less. -

Would rather a player who didn't score but is able to do their midfield duties, like passing and holding onto the ball which would enable our other players to play better. This team needs consistent performances, not one off goals. -
Every manager we get in the near future will be labelled our 'worst ever'. This squad is rubbish, players like Cordova Reid and Skipp would not start for any other team in this league.
-
When are we going to stop pretending that Cordova Reid and Skipp in midfield is acceptable. Desperately need Braybrooke here rather than out on loan.
-
There was a long period where Nelson was available and not getting a look in. In respect of Evans if youre good enough youre old enough, we havent seen enough of him at senior level to make that judgement but we know for a fact that Ayew is not good enough so why not give Evans a chance. Evans was closer to the first team when we were in the PL so it's clearly a matter of judgment rather than him objectively not being ready.
-
Nelson also couldnt make the bench for a large portion of our season yet is our best centreback. Evans not being on the bench isnt proof of whether he's ready or not just that the decision makers at the club, who have a very poor track record, deem him not to be.

Fair point, dont think there are any

A number of players have already gone back out on loan after terminating/finishing a loan elsewhere. Braybrooke has been playing well for a while, if the plan was to send him to league one we would have had that in the works well before the 31st.
-
The Ramsey injury will have made the club reassess whether to bring Braybooke back for sure. As much as I would like Page to play regularly in Ramsey's absence the club will probably prefer to have Braybrooke who has been playing and performing regularly and can play any of the 6, 8, 10 positions. It makes too much sense for him to be with us for the remainder of the season.
-
No reason he couldnt have been on the bench for a league one side today if he was going on loan there, aside from ineptness which with this club is always a possibility. Im predicting he will be with the squad today.
-
He looks and speaks like a character from a sit com

They are owned by an investment firm who saw the amount of money clubs were flipping young talents for but forgot to factor in that the majority of transfers in on inflated fees were being done by Chelsea so by buying Chelsea they didn't have a next club in the food chain to sell to.
-
Not sure the article says anything new that you couldnt already infer from what Fuchs has already said publicly about Braybrooke. Does Blackwell have any inside knowledge at the club? I think Huddersfield would be a good option for Braybrooke, theyre light in midfield due to injuries and he will have a familiar face in Alves there with him.

Wrote my post after reading this so was going off that as a possibility. -

If we're just going to do what we did in 2024 which is make profit on Fatawu and maybe James like we did Dewsbury Hall, then use that money to buy the equivalent of Skipp and Michael Golding, then i would rather we hold onto Fatawu and James. If we do sell Fatawu and James we need to buy players with talent on the cheap that we can sell if they dont work out. It's probably better to leave the pathway open for the academy lads than buy more duds. -
The Huddersfield manager said that Alves is back with them before the last game.
-
I wouldnt be surprised if depending on how serious Ramsey's injury is we are strongly considering bringing one of Alves or Braybrooke back from loan. You would expect the continuation of Braybrooke's loan to have been announced today considering they are playing again on Thursday and Fuchs didn't seem confident when asked about it after the game.

Had a goal and 3 assists in 700 minutes for a relegated Cardiff last season. Would be an upgrade on Mavididi and Ayew at least.

Easy to forget he's only 21, younger than Nelson and Braybrooke. He has his rough moments but he's overall been brilliant and still has plenty of time to get even better. -
Braybrooke has also become a lot more creative on the ball in recent games, should have a couple more assists. Fingers crossed for Alves, feels like him and Braybrooke have switched positions with him now struggling on loan (due to his injury) and Braybrooke impressing.
