Best GK Performance - Both for and against us
Incognito replied to jimsmallman's topic in Leicester City Forum
As @Bert said, Nyland was terrific in both legs of the league cup semi. Not so much a performance from the Great Dane here, but he made a marvellous save from Futacs when we played Pompey on NYE 2011. He was going the wrong way and somehow shifted his weight to go back the other way after his feet had left the floor, and keep the ball out. Terrific save. I remember thinking he was a stunt double for the Matrix! -
That is appalling. Crap human as well as a crap keeper then.

Bilal El Khannouss loaned to Stuttgart - Official
Incognito replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm a bit meh. Clearly got talent but didn't exactly set the world alight for us, albeit he was in a shite side. Interestingly, the article announcing his signing on the Stuttgart site doesn't make mention of the option to sign permanently. European clubs normally very good at mentioning they have an option. -
Ex Players - Where are they playing now?

No surprise KDH is winning over the Everton faithful. If ever a player was the blue print of a David Moyes type player, its KDH. -
There looks to be a player in there, but physically he looks a boy playing against men. The minutes he's getting now will be invaluable to him in the long run. Just a case of getting him minutes throughout the season and blooding him properly. Its only a lack of options, for one reason or another, that hes starting.

Was loud in K, L and L1, at times, too. Could also hear the family stand a lot. Definitely the best atmosphere for a long time. I daresay it spurred the players on (not that professionals should need it, but it helps right?) and then that translates back into the stands.

Yeah can't say I was a fan of the catcalling of him. Don't recall him ever slagging us off in the press, or refusing to play 👀 Fair play to him. He clapped us at the end, would have been easy to go straight down the tunnel given the stick he was getting.

Absolute class at this level. We'll have the same issue with him as we do with our other "strikers", in that we give them rubbish service. At least if we do fathom a chance, he can finish...

Being OCD, I've updated the list, I thought it appropriate to mark their current club too! -
Nothing else I can add that hasn't been said before about the bloke. Top man.

If he was half as good a player as he is at talking, he'd be better than Franco Baresi ever was! Alas, he's just a gobshite. -

"Support, not just attend." You have absolutely nailed it. But they're making it bloody hard for us! -
Spot on, and you can never fault players for backing themselves to make the move.

I'd treasure it too, she was well fit -
I think part of that has to go down to the management too - Rodgers let him get away with being in relatively poor shape for a supposed athlete. You only have to look at how Unai Emery benched him early doors and kept him benched until he got himself in shape. He hasn't looked back since.

Best Leicester Player From Almost Every Country
Incognito replied to Leicesterpool's topic in Leicester City Forum
Added my favourites (albeit favourite is a loose word, some were the only option available!), and a few countries that were missing. -
So, you're saying there's a chance?!
-
Don't worry mate - it's the Rudkin effect!

Posthumous? Has he died?! 😅😅

Gotta be honest, I'd have loved Craig Dawson here.... 5 years ago!

But football didn't start until 1992
