I'm a big fan of Duván Zapata. If Forest sign him to go with their legions of other signings, I might just be done with football once and for all.
-
Or realistically, both.
-
If Liz Truss can become PM, then I'm expecting you to be taking charge of the team come Saturday @Ric Flair!

Matt Piper more than one of our own

I know he is not everyone's cup of tea but seen Chris Sutton calling Rodgers out now too, saying he clearly doesn't want to be here and is wanting the sack. -
They must be awesome at golf then, because Rodgers is above average at it, and I doubt they'd back him so much if he was beating them all the time 🙈

Marco Rose. Gaizka Garitano. Marcelino Toral. No PL experience but three good managers who would jump at the chance to come here.

Would you be tempted to read Foxestalk....?

What ever happened to Thracian? -
He needs to spend all week showing Amartey how to close down hey

Loved it. The second half of that season, I, as a fan, felt so arrogant when watching us defend set pieces. It was a complete given that Morgan or Huth would get the ball clear, and then Kante would go and win the second ball around 25 yards from our goal. Pure magic.

About time the Union FS stormed Seagrave, Lazio ultra style!
-
I wonder if the players are as fed up with him as we are? Cracks are starting to show - his captain disagreeing with Bodgers' post match comments on Saturday for a start.
-
End of the day, Ranieri got the bullet for us being on the cusp of a relegation fight. Our owners whilst sentimental, are also cut-throat business people. Time's ticking Brendan...

When I compiled the list of who I might like as our next manager, I forget all about Sérgio Conceição. A proper winner who would get us playing on the front foot. Can't see Porto wanting to lose him, and if we did get him, it would take some hefty compensation.
-
Very, very good manager. Another that will be at a bigger German club before long imo.
-
The following are attainable in my opinion, and would get us going: Marcelino Toral Marcelo Gallardo Urs Fischer Unai Emery (think he's really disrespected on these shores) Marco Rose Ernesto Valverde Quique Sánchez Flores (ignore his spells at Watford!) Nuno Esporito Santo (another that did a better job at Wolves than given credit for) Gaizka Garitano Arne Slot I'd possibly add Roberto Mancini to the list - I think he'd come if we made overtures. Purely for the laughs when they saw Maddison's see-through rucksack, Dick Advocaat or Fabio Capello!
-
Fischer will be going to a big club (not Bayern) when he leaves Union imo.
-
Amartey perfectly encapsulates the fragile mentality of our squad. Before we scored, he was mostly having a solid game. Soon as we scored and Southampton come out to have a go at us, he starts panicking on the ball, missing tackles and interceptions and generally looking sub par. Söyüncü must surely be feeling aggrieved at not getting a game.

Wow! That's on a different plane of OCD entirely lol. I don't know whether to be impressed with your friend, or to have sympathy for him!
-
Wonder if he'll go ape shit like his old man used to?!
-
Yup! I'm going to have to rage close this browser tab as my OCD is flaring up!
-
Yup, entirely standard practice within the Premier League now. I read a fascinating interview (if you're into that kind of thing) with Bruce Buck, the former Chelsea chairman under Abramovich. He talked about how Chelsea had debt despite the owners billions. There was a lot more detail and reasoning, but it was purely for cash flow.

Loved this one. Ended up being bear hugged by half a dozen drunk middle-aged men. Had Johansson on the back of shirt at the game, didn't realise until after the match that he'd scored the goal! Thought it odd why I was getting such attention!
-
That can't be true surely? That's nearly as much as Izzet was paid at his peak with us? Just shows how football has changed in the past twenty years!
