Would I take him back?…. he was not perfect and actually infuriating at times. But yes 100%, he would be our best player and is always a danger of the opposition even if he is having a bad game. We should never have been a position where we had to shift him on.

Just buy 5 young up and coming players for the 2-5 mill mark. If 2 of them make it you make loads of money. If one of them makes it you have a player as good and probably better than a 25mill skipp. If they don’t, you probs get money back and nearly all of them. Then when young players see a pathway and model that gets them to massive club they choose you. all sit favourable with PSR rules. I don’t know if it’s a mad idea, but perhaps the only way to be sustainable as realistically we a never going to be flirting with the top 6 apart from the occasional season when a few come good. probs not realistic

Surely this is just the fact that we havent got 10 mill due to PSR. Even we surely can’t really want him and not get him. If it was an equivalent RB it would surely be a different story
