  1. Does our board strike you as one competent enough to insist on a relegation break clause?
  2. I called it as Russell Martin ages ago, and it just makes perfect sense that our board would look at him. That said, I thought we'd go for Scott Parker when we went for Enzo, so I could be wrong. Danny Rohl has to be first choice, but if he goes Southampton instead, i wouldn't mind Liam Manning from Bristol City or Marti Cifuentes from QPR instead. Personally, I want a flexible coach, where we can dominate the ball next season and then be a counter attacking threat should we get promoted.
  3. Hermansen Justin Coady Okoli Ricardo Ndidi Skipp Thomas Bilal. Mavididi Vardy
  4. Best centre back on our books. Will be one of the best in the championship with us next season, future captain
  5. He's streets ahead of Ruud, he's just ran his squad into the ground and been too stubborn this season
  6. Big Ange please. Attacking football, trusts youngsters, won't take any shit.
  7. Completely understand why Ruud would want it, but he's got no right to demand it if its not contracted. He's got a newborn, who knows if there's been complications, maybe his partner has PND, maybe he just wants to be around for something that's more important than football...as long as he's turning up on time and performing to the standard set in training, there should be no issue. I've got no issue with Ruud deciding he isn't training well enough and dropping him for that, but if it's solely cause he won't agree to spend a night away a week, it's a petty power play to distract from the fact Ruud is becoming one of the worst PL managers ever seen
  8. Completely agree...and he should be judged based on that...but that's his choice and it affects his career. There should be no prerequisite to live a certain distance from the training ground.
  9. Baffled by the reaction on here. It's 100 miles down the M1, probably takes him 2 and a half hours. He's hardly jetting in from Siberia is he
  10. Couldn't give a **** where he lives, if hes turned up late or is physically struggling cause of the travel, then fair enough. If they haven't been affected, don't care what his commute is, there's no requirement for players to live a certain amount of miles away from the training ground
  11. I actually really disagree on this, think the cup display at Bournemouth showed a more pragmatic side whilst still sticking to a style of play. I think we'd have been very close to Wolves under Enzo
  12. I was encouraged 2 or 3 matches in but he's ****ing dreadful isn't he. If i had to guess I'd say he's gone on 1st July for PSR reasons
  13. Advanced PLEDIS rating for diversity/inclusion, you'll never sing that
  14. Don't massively hate this. Personally I'd keep Winks, he was terrific last season, and think he suits how much of the ball we will likely have next year. Braybrooke > Golding
  15. People massively forget that Mavididi is easily one of the best wingers in the championship too. Those 3 behind a decent centre forward would cause havoc.
  16. Praying we can ship Ayew off to Saudi
  17. Agree on Hermansen, I think we get 20-25 if lucky. Believe we spent £20m on Bilal, could see him going for £30m if we got a couple of clubs interested
  18. Hermansen and possibly BEK to be sold for profit purposes One of coady/Vestegaard, one of Ayew/BDCR, + Faes, Wilf, Daka, Soumare, Kristiansen, Justin and Ricardo to go. Can see Souttar going to Sheff U and maybe Okoli heading out on loan
  19. Not shit, so that's a start. Still a lot to improve upon. Sell Mads this summer pre 30th June and get a few big earners off the books.
  20. If I'm Rosenoir, I'm eyeing up potential discontent at Chelsea with Enzo and hoping they look within their own group.
  21. I think it's one too many, especially when you throw McAteer in as general utility cover. If we are to keep Monga then he needs to see where he lies in the pecking order favourably
  22. He's very much ready to play for a top championship side, I just wonder where he'd fit in if we had Fatawu, Mavididi, Alves and Monga next year. Available on a free in the summer though. If we lose Monga, we should be all over it
  23. I don't think Ruud entered our thoughts in the summer. We were completely turned by two cup wins against us.
  24. Fischer would have been smart for this season, but his Union Berlin side weren't exactly easy on the eye, would worry about his ability to break down championship sides. A good coach no doubt though. I think we probably go slightly down the Enzo path again, but without being too wedded to a philosophy of playing style. I don't encourage it at all, but could easily see Top wanting to make the call on this one again and going for a big names assistant in Pep Lijnders. There are so many routes we could go down, but I still wouldn't be shocked either if Ruud is given a go
  25. Liked Akgun myself, a bit chaotic at times but always put in a shift. Has done well this season, if I remember rightly he was recommended to Enzo by Vincenzo Montella?
