Agree on Rohl at Saints. I unfortunately do think we end up with Martin. Cannot see Rosenoir leaving Strasbourg, especially with their links to Chelsea, think he's more likely to end up there than with us! Don't know why, but I've always imagined us going for a "big ex-player" so I wouldn't be shocked to see Gerrard linked to us.
-
We love Southampton, bring in their players, bring in their chief scout, bring in their manager targets. See you soon Russell Martin
-
Was undecided on Rosenoir in the summer but he's really shown improvements during the season at Strasbourg, with a really young group. Would massively tick every box for me now, especially as he showed when his hull side played us last season, he can also set a side up to defend and counter. Problem is, I don't see him leaving Strasbourg who could easily be in Europe next year, for us in the championship.

I'd say Enzo, Winks, Fatawu, Mads and Mavididi were good choices. However, the thought process behind getting Enzo was risky, Top asked him to play like Man City which shows a real lack of understanding to the level of our players. Fatawu and Hermansen show the scouting department still have an eye. Good. Let's do more of that.

Just hope we bomb out some of the "experienced" crap we've acquired. Coady, Vestegaard, BDCR and Ayew all need to go. I'm excited with our attacking talent for next year though, especially if we can add a decent centre forward or two! Manager wise, I can massively see it being Ruud or Russell Martin in charge, which doesn't thrill me at all, but we should easily have enough to get top 6. Bigger thing for me is to see us bring the right characters in to ensure we can have a good go at staying up, once/if we return. A coach who can set up well defensively would be nice for that. Basically, I'm asking for smart medium term decisions....which is ridiculous with the decision makers at our club.

Matthew Pollock from Watford. Big dominant centre back who's developing into a leader, the kind of personality we would have brought in under Pearson. Him and Nelson could easily sort us out at Centre back for a good number of years. I'm all in on Yuito Suzuki from Brondby too, and staying with the "leader" personalities, test Stoke's resolve with a bid for Wouter Burger.

The kind of player we should be throwing over to Leuven to test the water....if we dared to use a multi club model properly that is
-
Kyogo Furuhashi apparently available from Rennes already this summer. ÂŁ4m being mentioned. Won't get resale value at his age, but surely scores 15-20 in the championship and repays that instantly. If he'd make the step down of course!

Worst Leicester team in the premier league era?
LVFox replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can't remember a season in my lifetime where I've gone into almost every match thinking we will lose. First one where I've lost all hope. -
All depends who's in charge of the appointment really. Top gets dazzled by name or status, such as Ruud or Maresca (he really just wanted a mini pep). If it's rudkin it will be the most obvious appointment like we saw with Rodgers and Cooper. I don't trust either of them

Think Ange would drop to the championship if/when Spurs sack him?
-
My concern is that with us starting next season with Fatawu, Mavididi, BDCR, Ayew and McAteer on the books (maybe Monga too), the club view him as a sellable asset with plenty of forward thinking championship clubs capable of a 5m bid we may view as a quick win. We have to be brave in the summer, back the youngsters, even if it means 2-3 years in the championship as they mature
-
Fair to say he's proving championship isn't above his level. Now it's about proving a good level of fitness and availability before the end of the season, but has to be a definite squad member next year.

I've definitely been far more cautious over Monga on here than others....but he has to start making appearances from the bench for the first team now. -
Wasn't sure where to put this, but Nelson and Alves both called up to England elite league squad. Which i think is u20's?
-
Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga and Alves as wing options next year is the absolute dream
-
Eduardo Macia should 100% be replacing Glover, with a real organiser as DOF. Kevin Thelwell is leaving Everton, and would do that job.
-
Issue with Cannon is he's a tremendous finisher but almost all other aspects of his game look ropey. Without the chance to show the former he looks poor. A good sale tbh!

Surely a few appearances from the bench would boost his tribunal fee? If a Man City come knocking, there's really not much we can do. -
Rodgers was right, but it was his own making. He had spent plenty of money on dross that year and then came out saying we needed a refresh, when in essence, we had attempted that in the summer. The board should have noticed it wasn't going to end well at all from that point and got rid not long after. However, that team was more than good enough to stay up when you look at the names in it. Rodgers is mainly culpable as it was his team and they weren't fit enough or organised enough. The board royally ****ed it by not sacking him sooner and by being arrogant enough to think Dean Smith would do the job
-
His son. Similar players too, physical striker but Miles has a bit of class about him too.....needs consistency though
-
I rate Suzuki but feel we will be absolutely fine for wingers next year. Poku on a free would be the smartest pickup for that position too. Centre forward will be the interesting one. I'd love Kvistgaarden (Brondby), Kone (Wycombe) and Leaburn (Charlton) as our options, with Jake Evans sniffing around the first team

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
LVFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's given up, last throw of the dice was saying the players weren't good enough after Brentford. That didn't work and he's out of ideas. Tactically we look worse than under Cooper. It's a complete mess. Wonderfully, the club and players have all given up too so at least he's in good company -
The players aren't good enough. But you expect greater motivation to be shown from them and greater tactical ideas. Ruud is getting neither across to them. Has to go
-
Should be gone, he's doing nothing. Won't as we can't be bothered to pay him off
