I think last summers window was far more damaging than the Soumare/Daka one. Ayew, BDCR, Okoli, Skipp, Bilal - and we still broke PSR. Glover is absolutely dining out on Fatawu (who was an absolutely fantastic pick out) and Bilal, but so much shit has come in under him

Best things about that video, is he looks super confident on the ball, and really clever off it. Uses his positioning really well to intercept and also win headers. He’s 100% ready for next season.

Cleverley isn’t exactly doing great at Plymouth. Would he swap that to be assistant to Nige? Bassett/Adams style?

I have a particular annoyance with people switching to a back 5 as a defensive move - it doesn’t work, it creates far more space than two solid banks of 4 would. Kingy isn’t the first to do this, plenty do, but he would have been far better bringing Mukasa and Mavididi off, putting Fatawu up to play off Daka and playing double full backs on the wings.

Getting down to 75% of turnover would be a struggle but player trading would see us right, especially as we’d be selling Fatawu
