  1. Whilst for me, Ruud should go. If we are going to stick with him he needs his own team. But this should have happened when he came in...its pure arrogance from the board again, arrogance we've seen continually since the Ryan Bennett January window.
  2. Supposedly overcoached if replacements aren't planned. We definitely looked way too coached on Friday!
  3. Agree with the logic on this, and to me it's why we should be looking at Dyche. We need to get back up, and stay up. That's either by changing style to grind results out in the Premier League, or you bring in someone who's tactically advanced (like Leeds did with Bielsa).
  4. I could see Dyche working, club needs a mentality overhaul, players need to be kept on their toes and there needs to be a far higher work rate and we need to be harder to play against. Football would be grim, this season especially, but his Burnley side that won the championship weren't horrific
  5. Sell Hermansen (think we only get around the 20-25m mark though), Stolaryczyk to be first choice and an experienced backup to come in. Can see Ricardo, Justin and Kristiansen leaving. I'm also not convinced at all on Coulibaly, so a starting full back in each side is needed. Pray we start with Souttar and Nelson next season, Vestergaard as backup as we won't be able to shift him. Hopefully we can move on Faes, Coady and Okoli. Winks and Skipp to start as our midfield pair, Ndidi and Soumare to go, Braybrooke and two newbies as backup (one holding, one a mobile goal threat). Fatawu, Alves, Mavididi and McAteer as wing options. Get rid of Ayew and BDCR by any means necessary. Bring in Poku from posh. BEK to go, hopefully just on loan to the continent. A starting creative attacking midfielder will be needed. Vardy to retire, Daka to be sold. Evans and Monga to join the first team squad with 2 strikers coming in.
  6. Robbie Keane
  7. Well let's face it, we're ****ed. Flood it with those who will give a damn and any crumbs of leadership we have Hermansen Okoli. Coady. Kristiansen McAteer. Ndidi Winks. Thomas Buonanotte BEK Vardy Braybrooke, Cartwright, Monga and Evans on the bench
  8. I want to see as little of this team as possible in the championship. Burn it all down to the ground
  9. I've always felt the board would love Gerrard here, but imagine we don't see him in the UK for a while to stop his Saudi earnings being taxed
  10. Maybe...we were horrific under Cooper though. Far worse than the points suggested.
  11. I do think I've flipped to thinking Cooper was the better coach. I still think we'd be 19th with him in charge mind. The only way this squad can get points is a defensive minded coach who sets up 5-2-2-1, but even then, we're too far gone and too low on quality
  12. I'm at a loss. This is so bad that I have no idea where we go from here. Any change the the starting 11 is really just bringing another player who isn't good enough in. What manager could ever come in and get a tune out of this squad? It's blatantly obvious that the board needs to go, from a pure competency viewpoint, it's not good enough. We all know that won't happen with Top in charge. We may be able to scramble a promotion push next season, but for now until the end of the season, is there anything we can constructively achieve?
  13. Has to go. I've stuck up for him but this, Wolves at home and Everton away is just unforgivable. We are going down regardless of who's in charge, but this cannot continue.
  14. I'd change the centre backs and the wingers at HT. They are more of a shambles than the other 7....but honestly, none of them look like footballers
  15. Jordan Ayew is going to give me a heart attack, he's one of the laziest wastes of space I've ever seen. We are so so bad
  16. Laughably shit aren't we. **** me
  17. I've stuck up for Ruud an awful lot, but tonight was the time to change at least one of that front 3, I just don't see how we score.
  18. Not a member this season, oddly relegation would usually entice me in more, but I've just reached the point where, until I see changes made, I don't want the football club getting any more of my money. Had a walk around the club shop in Highcross today and the prices are just utterly ridiculous. We aren't alone I know, but it just turns you against the club further
  19. Can see this being similar to the palace game. Decent start where we huff and puff but eventually we get caught and it ends 2-0
  20. I'd look at Bilal on the left and Buonanotte in the 10. He's got better energy to get beyond the striker and I don't think moving Bilal to the left would take too much away from his game.
  21. Was banging the drum for him last year, we should have been in for him in the summer when he moved from AZ for €18m
  22. Charitable acts have never been an issue, they have always done way more than we could ever wish for. It's competent running of a football club that we could do with
  23. Yes it is. It's also miraculously during the worst PR week for them with major broadcasters picking up on fan dissent. "People are saying we're bad owners, break out the philanthropy". People who are in need will benefit so this isn't a complaint, but let's not kid ourselves on its reason or timing
  24. We play wide midfielders rather than wingers don't we. A 4-4-1-1. He's a right midfielder in that system and would really add something to us if it's possible to get him fit while we still have a chance.
  25. I'm really happy to be corrected, and I agree the pathways for players like Alves & Braybrooke have been mismanaged (not just this season), but have the likes of Everton, Ipswich and Wolves blooded many 17-19 year olds? It's so hard to do when your matches are tight at best, 1 defensive lapse can cost you valuable points in this division, and that relates to any position on the pitch as well. I think it's far easier for teams that are in comfortable possession, or 2-3 goals up to throw a youngster in off the bench to see how they cope. We simply don't have that luxury.
