Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
lcfc_forever replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Yeah, I suspect this has come from the club given it's Percy reporting it, not Luke Edwards who writes on Newcastle. -
Percy confirms Everton's interest in Fatawu in his article. Just don't see it happening now, the board have a massive PR problem and letting go of our most popular and best player in this window would be wild.

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

Percy confirms Everton interest in Justin and Fatawu: Abdul Fatawu, the Ghana international, and defender James Justin have also attracted interest from Everton in this transfer window. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/08/11/newcastle-transfer-move-leicester-bilal-el-khannouss-howe/ -

Here is the Percy article: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/08/11/newcastle-transfer-move-leicester-bilal-el-khannouss-howe/ "It is understood that the price is more than £30m and expires later this week, so Newcastle are now accelerating their interest." -

This is what Owynn from BBC RL had said, likely sourced from the club. If it was in the low £20m area, surely more sides would have bid by now? -
29-year old, in his final contract year - surely we let him go as long as we get a favourable PSR bid? This is what the best-run, sustainable clubs do (I know, Rudkin LOL) - cash in, and have the replacement lined up. Winks has quality at this this level but we're just going to end up with the same problem over and over again. Getting our house in order will ensure we have a stronger longer-term platform rather than becoming a yo-yo club.

One thing I noticed that was predicted from his time at QPR was the improvement on set pieces (we scored from 2 and should have scored from one other) and getting crosses into the box from wide areas quickly, leading to that Daka chance and the brilliant bit of defending to deny Mavididi. While there are some similarities with Enzoball, those two aspects stand out positively - shows we can mix it up and be direct to beat the low block.

Mads Hermansen sold to West Ham - Official
lcfc_forever replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's obvious what's happening here. West Ham are deliberately briefing this so they look like strong negotiators and helps them for other purchases, while other, more neutral sources have given a higher figure. Sadly, some of our fans are too moronic, negative or just want to get a reaction from clickbait so spread this stuff. -

For some reason, he tends to get a lot incorrect about Leicester even though he supports us. Romano and BBC RL said the fee was different and they’re more trustworthy. -
Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
lcfc_forever replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Romano tweeted that Chelsea 'have full trust' in current squad, and their new signing Hato can play at LB and CB. He's in with Enzo and Chelsea generally, so hoping he's right on this! -
BBC saying nearer £20m

Thanks for the update, what a lovely club Liverpool are and what a fair system this is 😂
-
He was arguably are most important player along with Vardy for Rodgers' most successful period as manager. I remember when he got injured in our first CL push, and how much of an impact it had on our form - Evans and Soyuncu looked so much more shaky without him and arguably, it cost us a place in the League Cup Final. When he returned vs. Chelsea at home, it was a huge boost. And let's not forget how crucial his signing was to our turnaround in form in 2016/17 and CL run. But his form starting falling in the 21-22 season, and he didn't hit those heights again albeit his form in our promotion season (and at the start of the previous season) was excellent. A brilliant player for the club, one of our very best midfielders when he was at his peak.
-
Looks like it’s now finalised
-

He's £200m behind so he's about a tenth of the way there with this and Coady! I wonder if the club have changed the structure (maybe Glover has stepped up more?) but not said anything to avoid losing face.
-
From what I understand from @ramadaone, we're not dealing with Liverpool after the way they handled the Nyoni situation. Nypan would be an incredible signing, we wanted Collyer the previous season as well.
-
@Ric Flair You must be pleasantly surprised as you were pessimistic this deal would happen. Looks like Dorsett is back to relying on secondary/tertiary sources, and the Turkish press were more accurate on this.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)
lcfc_forever replied to leicsmac's topic in General Football and Sport
What a match, what a series! Fair result overall, England rode their luck superbly but India just wouldn't give in. -
Meant he didn't play Winks from the start. Having seen the highlights, he looked decent but there was more space open to him. As his performances in the PL showed, he struggles when pressed and Marti appears to want to get the ball from back to front quicker than Enzo.
-
Happy the manager didn’t play Winks as we need more physicality in the middle for this system, and he didn’t show up in the previous friendly. Yeah, Soumare isn’t ideal but Ndidi is likely to move on - if one of them does leave, think that no. 6 position will be a priority along with a striker.

Marti on BBC RL said he had a muscle injury, similar to Ricardo so doesn’t sound serious. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
lcfc_forever replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Owynn on BBC RL said it’s his understanding (likely from the club) there is a release clause but higher than what has been mentioned online, it’s closer to £30m. -
Is this back up at West Ham, or for their no.1?
