  1. Tend to agree although I think he is a world class coach rather than manager - whether he has the other attributes to be a world class manager remains to be seen. It's why a club like us was more suited to Enzo's mentality as he would have got to own the whole show. So far, doesn't look like he can handle other stakeholders who want involvement.
  2. He has incredible PR around him, and now Jorge Mendes as his agent. The Chelsea departure is being communicated as a resignation rather than a sacking by influential media. He’ll get linked with all the top jobs - quits Chelsea for lack of control and rigid tactics, then gets linked to the RM job having fired Alonso for having too rigid a game plan and being denied the players (e.g. Zubimendi) he wants! Yeah, right Real want more of that 😂
  3. Very good today, him and Mavididi stood out along with Page. That tackle to stop their player when through on goal was excellently timed. Loved his smile towards the end of the match when we had a corner, looks like his confidence is returning.
  4. Bournemouth's top target is German international Jamie Leweling who plays for Stuttgart.
  5. Put him in central midfield to win some duels and get some intensity in there, he's not a full back. Aluko surely starts the cup match, and then hopefully makes enough of a good impression to be a starter until we get someone in.
  6. Our best defender today based on the stats, glad he's getting a run in the team. Likely our only player to win far more duels than not, making lots of clearances.
  7. These stats are horrible, 15 tackles to just three and they’re pressing/winning duels much more as well.
  8. Worth listening to what Henry Winter said about him on his podcast. Does seem like winning competitions has gone to his head, and having someone like Jorge Mendes as his agent will boost his ego further - he’s got a strong PR machine behind him although Balague has been strangely quiet having been his no.1 cheerleader. Wants to have control of a club, which he would have got here. Far less likely with a big club, as they will typically have a structure led by a DoF. Doubt Man City will appoint him given how his time at Chelsea ended. Clubs will also be wary of appointing him given how he flexed at Chelsea and his increasing reputation for being a snake, based on how he was talking to other clubs while at Chelsea.
  9. The lack of clean sheets is so poor, Marti isn’t organising the defence well enough. 3-5-2 seems the obvious option, and would suit our team with Mav so out of form and the 1 striker strategy not working. Our full backs are targeted for their lack of pace, and we generally don’t have enough pressure or physicality. Alternatively, put Okoli at right back, Vestergaard back in the team (until Souttar returns) and Aluko/Ricardo rotating at left back until we hopefully sign a new LB. Our most controlled performances came while we had 2 DMs in the team, and then good finishers like Ricardo, Monga and BCDR to get us over the line. Does mean James being a no.10 but the defence is the biggest problem so needs prioritising.
  10. This is the thing, we've got to accept as fans that the younger players will make mistakes and they'll learn/grow over time. Rather they play as they're more dedicated and have a higher ceiling, need to be patient and give them support.
  11. Looks like it was more about our interest in Patterson, and Sunderland preferring a sale rather than a loan: https://the72.co.uk/2025/12/28/new-update-future-qpr-leicester-anthony-patterson/
  12. Not defending Marti (he's not good enough) but most of us have been calling for the youngsters to get a run, and based on independent ratings, Nelson, Stol and Thomas had shockers, all of whom came through our academy. We should expect some inconsistency with younger players as they get more experience, although no excuses for Thomas who's played enough games.
  13. Frustration with Thomas is he is technically decent with good delivery but his weaknesses just haven't been worked on, namely his lack of physicality. Look at how Chilwell bulked out, it's a necessary part of the modern game. Surely he and the coaching staff could/should have realised this? So weak, and consequently a target for the opposition. Aluko has more potential, and should get a run.
  14. Winks without the baggage would have been a great sub to bring on - I remember when he came on against Charlton and he managed the game superbly for us. But he should be nowhere near the squad with his attitude - it might mean dropped points in the short-term but for the longer-term cultural reset, the players need to know there are standards and repercussions, which will make us a better team moving forward. And gives the opportunity for the likes of Page and hopefully Braybrooke to grow, they are the future of the club, not Winks.
  15. I’m a big fan of xG but this is where it can be a bit misleading as you can pad out your xG with lesser chances. The key stat to look at is big chances - we had 3 and they had just one, and that’s exactly reflected in the result.
  16. Saw him near Trafalgar Square today with his missus. Hope he gets in the team soon, clearly needs a morale boost and he’d help so much competing for headers.
  17. If he doesn’t go, three immediate steps: 1. Expel Winks and Faes from the squad, not even on the bench. Attitude over ability, set the standard and culture. 2. Go back to the counter-attack style that worked for us at the start of the season, Birmingham was the best performance from the that style and should have been the blueprint. That includes playing at least one defensive midfielder to protect the defence. 3. Play the youngsters more, give the likes of Aluko, Page and Monga more time - as well as developing them, it gets the fans behind the team more. Have some sympathy that we have Jakub out along with our best centre-halves, but that doesn’t excuse that shower of 💩 that was the defending for their goals.
  18. Carvahal or Mowbray, need an experienced coach who can reset the culture and organise the team.
  19. Started going wrong when he integrated more of the so called more ‘senior established’ players into the team. Their attitude is rotten and they need to be kicked out. Doesn’t look like Marti is a strong enough character that is needed.
  20. That's exactly what I was thinking. No respectable court would hold up a charge if you change the rules after the offence took place.
  21. Don't know if this has been shared yet but clarifies a few things about why the interview was in Thailand, it was filmed on 7 Nov in advance of the Norwich match, Top is changing his visa to spend more time at the club and he is going to be doing more interviews with the media over the coming weeks: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6807576/2025/11/14/leicester-city-chairman-khun-top-fan-connection/
  22. As was his goal vs Huddersfield. Offers more than Soumare or Skipp.
