Yep. He talks too much but he’s typically on message. Shows Wolves have got a smarter, more ruthless media operation to put this kind of rumour out there, and just adds to fans suspicions so job done.
-
You’d think Coady wouldn’t be this stupid to let this leak out. Nice narrative from Wolves to push out to a client journalist to try to unsettle their rival.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
lcfc_forever replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The other problem with RVN is Edouard doesn't play, and he's fallen out with Facu so our two precious PL loan spots are not being effectively used. Unless he changes up the formation quickly to start getting the best out of the squad he has, he needs to go. -
That we’d allow the transfer to happen (unless Brighton have a break clause) as based on appearances we can keep him for the season.
-
Fichajes is a really bad source, not far from indykalia. But given how badly the club is run, wouldn’t surprise me!
-
It's bizarre. We don't have a replacement lined up it seems, hence the reluctance to sell. It's amateurish, lack of scenario planning.

Transfer Deadline Day - Prediction Thread
lcfc_forever replied to EnderbyFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Someone make this make sense! We've rejected two bids for homegrown squad players that could help our PSR issues hugely, and not managed to get a CB or winger on loan. Even Southampton have done more business, including getting a young CB back in. -
Looks like he’s staying:
-
So the Romano tweet was before the story broke we were in for him?

Nasser Djiga - Centre-Back from Red Star

Romano has shared a photo of him on his way to sign for Wolves so looks like this is pretty much a done deal. -
At least switch to 3-5-2 to help make up for the defensive issues, and play the defenders with pace if you want to play a high line!
-
Tanner's latest article suggests RVN is likely going to have to work with what we've got. No surprise the issue is PSR, and he highlights the ongoing arbitration with the Premier League. Best possibility of a signing is a loan from abroad. Not surprising based on what we've heard already.
-
That’s some memory @Ric Flair! It’s not then looking likely at all then for signings if we don’t hear any rumours by tonight.
-
Really? Sure it was on the day. Edouard was another surprise but appreciate we don’t like to remember that one!
-
Benkovic. Lookman was a deadline day surprise too.
-
And Cunha has agreed a contract extension so not leaving this window. Even Southampton are getting a centre half! What has the club become. It’s a joke.

You misunderstood - I meant playing a high line itself was ridiculous, not defending him. Don't get why he did this. -

I didn't watch it but @StriderHiryu said he played a high line which is ridiculous. He'd been playing a mid-block to cover for the centre halves lack of pace. After the Bilal sub and Ward fiasco, his decision making has to be seriously questioned. Prior to joining, reports suggested he'd adapt the tactics to fit the players. But it doesn't look like he is, which is very concerning. Maybe he's making a point in desperation to get more signings in? -
Withdrawn our offer, the player’s club took too long to respond:
-
Going to Lille. Reported in the French press yesterday, and now that news has been confirmed by Ornstein.
-
Pete O'Rourke isn't letting this go: https://www.footballinsider247.com/leicester-cut-price-offer-for-tariq-lamptey-could-be-accepted-by-deadline/ He adds that he's not sure Lamptey would want the move anyway.
-
Not the most exciting signing but winger and centre half are the priorities so if it's low cost and means more budget for those players, then OK with it.
-
And they were linked with Banzuzi as well
-
You've got to take the ineptitude of the managers and DoFs into account as well. For example, Rodgers should have seen we needed a goalkeeper desperately instead of going after Jack Harrison, and we would have most probably stayed up. And how Rudkin managed to let around £135m of talent go on a free is unacceptable.
