You can have your plan A, fine, that's the managers idea and it's fair to give it go. It's the lack of changing or variety that will stop Enzo ever being at a higher level. Pep switches players and positions constantly and quickly, even he had a style.
-
Leeds not winning means we've got away it to an extent, no matter what happens with Ipswich. We can't play that badly on Friday surely.
-
Faes Will get the blame but he's literally the only one who tries to occasionally force the issue, drive forward or add the extra man into a woeful midfield.
-
Pathetic performance. No promotion chasing team as ever played with so little urgency. We tried to score in the last minute and created 3 chances. Players, and maybe even the manager, aren't bothered enough imo, if we don't go up they know they are leaving. Some terrible performances when it mattered most. Midfield woeful. What the **** was the ndidi and kdh combo all about and how did it last so long? Didn't deserve anything but the ref is comfortably one of the worse I've seen, worse than a ref that makes bad decisions because he just strolls around the centre circle like he owns the place doing **** all. Ball was probably in play for less than a half in that match and he did nothing about it.

Development/Youth Squads 2023/2024 Thread - U18/U21

I'm sorry..but True Grant? This Will probably be our starting first team next season. -
The centre backs taking goal kicks happens a lot now, and it's pretty common tactic for anyone who isn't trying to time waste. Not sure where the idea has come from and what the benefit is.
-
You can't slide in the box unless you are guaranteed to get the ball.
-
Will Leeds and Ipswich be 'using their squad' in midweek. I know Ricardo is a different case, but we have to just play our best 11 and hope for the best.
-
Lack of good 3rd wing option has been a downfall for us all season. Yunus did well today but he's not a serious wing starting option for me. I'm not as convinced as most with Fatawu, he never scores a goal like Stephy today for example as he's always ball watching and not getting in the box. Has some raw ingredients though. Lack of variety of plays with him and Ndidi is frustrating. Ndidi closes the space every time so even if Abdul wants to go down the outside he can't. Ideally have someone to play 1-2s with.

Leicester 2-1 Birmingham POST MATCH.

Important to win games, especially when nearest rivals both lose tough away games. Roles reversed in midweek. -
Leicester 2-1 Birmingham POST MATCH.

Add that to the list of games we've made a hell of a lot harder than it needed to be. It's a Enzo kind of win, patient and back yourself to create that winning goal and we did. If he's not bringing Kel on as a second striker in that half, he never will. Overall, a great day. -
Myoshi has been their biggest threat so can see why Justin has come on but nit sure it had to be done
-
The half time discussion is painful
-
Ndidi is good at some stuff but we really do miss a more technical player in his role.
-
Someone needs to shut that Vardy wannabe up now too, desperate to be a shithouse.
-
Some crazy comments about Mads because he's had one charged down. Happens to most Keepers every now and again, doesn't always fly into the net though.
-
Rubbish. Irony being that if Mads passes it out we don't concede Ricardo excellent but everyone else pretty shit, bar one good KDH finish.
-
Daka instead of Vardy at home makes sense, especially against a park bus side. But you'd rather the chances fall to Vardy (ignoring the Bristol City game)
-
This has been about as dominant as you could possibly be from Man City. Apart from 2 brain farts when they've lost the ball.
-
Hull sitting in 10th place and having their manager nominated for managers if the year is a bit weird, not like they are a Rotherham type side or anything. As much as Enzo has ballsed it recently, 3 highest performing championship sides in history should be nominated. Although McKenna should definitely win, even if they finish 3rd.
-
He's hard to watch sometimes but when he gets it right he starts so many of our most positive attacks by being aggressive and winning the ball, and we look so much more threatening he does that well.
-
So close to being a great day
-
You could probably say that about every goal scored in this bloody league.
-
It's funny that Leeds won the league a few weeks ago yet all of a sudden have to win or will be 4 points off the top.
-
Ipswich got better with the subs, changes all 3 attackers every game I've seen them and nearly always have an impact. Maybe he should.get the team right in the first place Opposite Southampton got worse with their subs.
