  1. Brilliant win and proving we can compete with this style. Not first choice teams for either side but doesn't matter. The confidence Enzo gives this side can not be underestimated. Of course, on another day they hit the target more but we had more golden chances. Not watched every game this season but I doubt Vestergaard has played a better game for us, proving he can defend too. Coady was great too, unbelievable professionalism from someone who must be frustrated. Better Defender than Faes so I could maybe see him playing more next season than this. Choudhury brilliant, really want Yunus to get it right because there's a lot to like, outstanding effort but lacking when needed most. Great goal, still think keeper should do better but a goal like that was going to happen at some point. Bring it on.
  2. If that had gone in he'd get a contract for life.
  3. Justin best in the world at throwing himself to the ground when running towards his own goal
  4. I'm more worried now we are winning was enjoying it comfortably before.
  5. Ricardo did brilliantly, he made it work but it was a suicidal pass.
  6. More I see it the more i think it's a bit shit from the keeper from a positional and foot movement sense. Great strike either way,
  7. We should've had a couple more senior options on the bench. KdH to bring on now would be perfect.
  8. Can't argue with that 90 minutes, whatever happens now. Other than poor finishing from Yunus, who has otherwise been great, but looks knackered. Best I've seen Marcal second half, Iheanacho has been so much better today with his first touch, coady and Vestergaard have defended brilliantly. I couldn't handle Jacob in goal every week, tough job but have no confidence.
  9. If this is as dismal as it could be, a refund should be offered to anyone who's made the effort to go down there. But let's hope its one of those great cup nights. No point complaining now, let's see what happens first.
  10. If I was Bournemouth fan, I'd be fuming if they didn't go strong for this. They don't get many opportunities to go deep in competitions. There is a good chance they can make 11 changes and still beat us comfortably but i'd like to see my team go for it in Bournemouth's position.
  11. Wonder if Klopps wants to get rid of the league Cup now. He annoys me as much as anyone but you can't argue his ability as a coach and his enthusiasm and joy is contagious. He didn't have too many options but plenty of mangers wouldn't have trusted that many young players. And they were great. Chelsea should have finished the game in normal time. Poch falling short again.
  12. Another example of a ref that clearly didn't want to disallow goal but felt forced too. Real tough choice between shit like the other night or VAR. Really think I'd rather just be annoyed something goes against you sometimes.
  13. Going to take us 30 overs to get where we want to be playing like this.
  14. Techniques playing the varying bounce has been called into question, rather than playing ridiculous shots. Other than Hartley.
  15. I fear allowing them to get to 300 may cost us.
  16. Far too fuming to comment too much but how the **** have we lost that. Comfortably the better team for 80 minutes. I ****ing hate football
  17. Concentrate on getting him ready for pre-season, no need to rush anything. We can take a look, give him some minutes, and if he needs a championship loan ( we a Premier League club) then so be it.
  18. Waking up at 112-5 I didn't expect us to see us past 300 with wickets remaining. Solid first day in the end, brilliant from Root aided by a few other contributions. New ball looks critical on this pitch.
  19. It's great until you remember we play Hull soon
  20. Anyone ever seen Everton score a non set piece goal.
  21. Pretty awful couple of days, to say the least. Questions will be asked and there is a balance between believing in the methods and also hiding behind it. It's going to look bad occasionally but its important we realise when it's going wrong and adapt quicker, see the match situation. We have scored a lot of runs playing this way, Duckett doesn't get his hundred for example without taking the same risks everyone else did, but you need it to come off for more than one of them to win a match against the best. India have done well to prepare less spinning wickets in the last couple of tests, overly spinning wickets make our bowlers better and give them a chance. If you need that bit of skills, their spinners are much better. Can't let India get 400plus every first innings, bowlers haven't been threatening enough.
  22. Could see that result coming. Can't comment on performance but it's one of our lives gone. In terms of the breathing space we have. No time for panic but could really do without playing Leeds next. Must not lose.
  23. No particular reason, just a feeling. Probably just scars from the defeat earlier in the season. In my head these will be organised and we might struggle to break them down.
  24. Got a bad feeling about today. Can see us being held.
  25. Root has played that shot numerous times and been called a genius. But when he's not in great form it's a bad decision. He's not the type who can hit his way into form. We are definitely missing Stokes the bowler too.
