I was speaking with people at work this week about how much I enjoyed the Ryder Cup more than anything I've watched in football for a long time and we spoke about other sporting events that march it. Final day of a test match when all results are possible, not just the Ashes, and a tense world championship snooker match score quite highly for me too. A world cup is great event though, and you do forget until it comes around again.

Think we are seeing how useful Ndidi was to Fatawu, his running into the channels gave him an option or gave him more space. Add Ricardo to that too. Hopefully Ramsey can offer a similar role. Ricardo for Hamza will be the only change I reckon. Hopefully he saw enough in Daka (from a team point of view) to persevere rather than recall Ayew.

Wharton and Mitchell surely should be in there given their form. Mitchell in particular when we have no left backs. Grealish is unlucky but there is a lot of competition. I think he's fighting Gordon for the spot.

Difference is people aren't playing defensive against Hull. We are easy to defend and teams would be stupid not to sit deep and let Winks, Faes and Vestergaard pass to each other.

Most of the game he looks really good but he always has a moment. Mistakes happen but last night is just another one to the collection. It shown everything wrong with him, ponderous run and weak in the challenge. Also love how he constantly goes for a diving header when its about an inch off the floor.

Wrexham defended the wings really well. Both wingers had wing back, wide centre back and wide central midfielder all to get through.

Marti's analysis always seems fair but its no good being tactically aware once you have the benefit of hindsight. His comments don't match what happened in the second half and neither do his subs.

He's looked as many predicted. But hard when given 10 minutes. Not like we had all summer to find a striker, there had to be a reasonable loan option from a premier league club

He was rubbish, as always he does get forward but he's never been able to link up well with anyone in front of him..

Benefit of the doubt with most things season bring Skipp on didn't need to happen. James was fine where he was and could've got Ayew on for Reid. Attacking options from the bench are awful and I'm convinced that's why Marti goes more defensive.

Never seen a team play walking football so much. Actually think Winks played well but him and Vestergaard just encourage this kind of slow play too much.

As long its been done professionally with grown up honest discussions I don't really have a problem with it. We had to bring the fresh blood of bowlers ahead of this Ashes tour so had to move Anderson and Broad on at some point, and time is right for Woakes too I reckon. Big fan of Woakes and has been one of my favourite England players in recent times, just seems like a top bloke. If he can stay fit Woakes will pick up bundles of county wickets.
