LCFC 1-1 Portsmouth - Post Match Thread
RowlattsFox replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
As soon as the opposition put that extra bit of effort it's noticeable how half arsed we are. Looked so unfit in that second half. -

The fact he can never make it through a game is probably holding him back. -
Be great if two football teams and 2 sets of supporters could just watch their team without it having anything to do with politics wouldn't it.

I think they are bringing more attention to it and increasing any likelihood of trouble. A lot of people in Birmingham probably had no idea this was happening until it got in the news.

Tried for DMA's but Manchester Friday looks to be sold out and I can't do a Sunday night gig

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Been listening to the latest stick to cricket pod over the last few days with Allan Lamb and Gladstone Small. Cricket was different in the 80s Some great stories. -
Bellingham definitely gets back if fit and on form. Wouldn't be surprised to see if one of Foden or Palmer don't make the squad though. As good as the last couple of performances have been, you have to consider the opposition. Not the first time we've swept aside qualifying campaigns.

Good to see Eze backing himself rather than passing to Kane. In the Premier league they'd be looking at Bowen being offside in front of the keeper.
-
We will still get to the world cup and start claiming Kane is holding us back again. Combination of him being knackered come the end of the season and his style of play. At least Tuchel seems to recognise the type of players you need around him.

England Internationals Wales and Latvia

That's how you use VAR to your advantage, no way you get that decision without it. Hard to say its not a penalty when it's a clear shirt pull but it doesn't feel right. -

Kane in a nutshell this, one excellent finish and then a soft penalty. -
Sweden are having a shocker.

The announcement about him and Carranza doing signing session has suddenly made this signing make sense. He is here as a mate for Carranza..

Noone will remember this window if Scotland qualify but crazy how there can be so much negativity when they've won both games. Granted I didn't watch any of them Amazing window for the Faroes.

Poor standard but great drama. 2 unbelievable finishes from Littler. Good to see it played in good spirits as well, even if Price was doing all his posturing.

Not watched the last couple of series but got back into it this time and enjoying it. Thought I'd like Reece more but it's hard to not see him as a Inside number 9 character

Friendly or not, always nice to comfortably beat one of the home nations as they also come at you with the 'We'll beat you because we have more passion' line. I like that Tuchel isn't afraid to call out the Wembley crowd but not sure that will ever change, other than tournament games or games that have a bit riding on them. Would love to have Hampden atmosphere but Scotland are always in a critical situation so it just helps. -
Great wall and top goal keeping Good for Hamza though, must be pretty cool for him to be the star.

I've been looking at destinations for an anniversary trip in March. We've wanted to do Dubrovnik but unsure on what it'll be like towards the end of March? Both in weather and things to do? Anyone have any experience of going this time of year?

Premier League 2025/26 Thread
RowlattsFox replied to OntarioFox's topic in General Football and Sport
Taking away the anti-Forest stuff and the funny side of it, it is pretty ridiculous that a manager could be sacked after 7 games Obviously it's different because the previous manager was popular and his sacking was unwarranted. Anyone remember Palace's start last season? Should have sacked Glasner. -
Absolute better.

Coventry wouldn't be the first team to start brilliantly and fade away. But so far they look the best team, simply because they can score goals. Also helps when the offside rule doesn't apply to them at least 2 of their goals today looked offside in the highlights.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread
RowlattsFox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
If Ben Nelson made that challenge everyone would be saying how hard done by he was. Faes and Vestergaard are in a position where they can't change opinions, and most of the time I'd agree. But nothing wrong with the tackle and its a horrible decision.- 299 replies

Nothing wrong with that challenge at all. If he doesn't make the challenge there is a chance the Swansea player gets there to get the cross in. Just because it's Faes everyone will jump on him. They don't even appeal for it.
