The depressing bit about this situation is that it'll take another 2 or 3 losses until we even get the first murmurs of "Cooper under pressure" in the press, and then knowing our club, we'd need to lose another 4 or 5 before they took action. I doubt we get rid before January.

if we dont sack him we're going down

I also don't want to open a can of worms on this and for what it's worth, I couldn't care less if the actual folk who did the chanting or the flag stuff got battered. But that's not what happened - unrelated Maccabi TLV fans, Jews, Israelis and even other nationalities were assaulted last night on the premise of their attackers perceiving them to be Maccabi TLV fans, Israelis or Jews. Screenshots of chat histories going around where it's basically becoming evident that people were planning on finding and hunting Maccabi fans, or as they put it in their messages, Jews specifically ahead of time.

Would be if they somehow magically managed to specifically target and "bang" the folk who chanted these things or tore the flag down. Instead vigilante groups roamed through the city and battered anyone and everyone who couldn't sufficiently prove they weren't Israeli, or get this - Jewish - . They even attacked some Ukrainian tourists because they wouldn't or rather couldn't speak Dutch. Here's a short post from a Dutch forum today: "I found it a hallucinatory experience to come across a roadblock of masked youths on an Amsterdam canal and to be asked my nationality. “Dutch,” I stammered with my cowardly mouth. “Oh, then it’s okay.” When I asked what the wrong answer would have been, the answer came: “As long as you’re not Jewish.” I’m still shaking." If you're having to wail "I'm not Jewish" simply to avoid being put into hospital in 2024 we've got a fkn problem.

While that's true, a 6'6 CB is bound to draw the attention of more than one defender to himself.

Arsenal vs Leicester City Tactical Analysis

Think I'm going mental but when was the last time we had a coach who made effective subs? Think by now we all know Cooper's probably able to see the bottom of his can of paint thinner with how he's gone about subs this season. They're always late, they're always the wrong ones. What exactly does BDR or Ayew bring that Fatawu doesn't? We've all seen last season how hard Abdul works in defense and I'm starting to get really upset about how little gametime he's getting. And when he does its 5-10 minutes on the wrong side of the pitch. Nevermind Ricardo who I think would be a brilliant sub to make either for Skipp yesterday or for Buonanotte. Someone with ability on the ball but also capable of defending. -
There's a time and place for that. Yes he did well but his time was over by the 60th minute. Cooper needs to ****ing see that.
-
Can't wait for him to have a single just half-decent game in about 4 months time in the FA Cup for some of the lot on here to go on about how he deserves his place and how we need more of Leicester lads like him. Absolute car crash of a performance, genuinely can't pick out a single moment where he didn't **** something up. With Soumaré, yeah he's slow but he's more or less sticking to a player. Hamza was running around like a headless chicken today. Can't wait for the day we finally ****ing get rid of him before yet another manager buys into his shtick
-
hardly We were under the kosh ever since Palace got the quick goal back, it was obvious we needed someone to help us get out of that pressure and that someone certainly wasn't Ndidi taking his 50th loose touch when we finally got hold of the ball or in fact Hamza, who very fittingly, looked like a car crash for every single second he was on the pitch.

Split draw pfff

Oh for crying out loud, Simmo's offered his winners medal should he lose

Leicester v Villa Match Thread 31/8/2024

Hermansen screaming "Winksy" for a minute straight to tell him to track a certain runner. He doesn't, we concede, Hermansen goes apeshit at Winks -
-
see thats fine if he was a rotation option but for some odd reason he's starting ahead of Mavididi
-
That'll be tough to do since we're probably going to be taking a loss on him with the figures that are being touted. Not to mention Everton have a hefty sell-on clause
-
And so who does he get minutes over? Sure we can have him bring others into the game, but what good is that when it means benching Fatawu or Mavididi Remind me again which Leicester RW had more big chances created per 90 than even Salah
-
Surely just using Ricky as a plain midfielder has to be a consideration? Him not having to be a genuine fullback is probably what saved his hamstrings last season plus he's got more than enough quality to back it up.
-
I feel like that's because Winks was brought in to play that one specialised role. He's perfect at it, moving the ball from A to B without much hassle. It's the role he rose to "fame" with at Spurs as well, his downfall, other than his injuries, were coaches attempting to play him elsewhere.
-
Honestly I'd love for him to just walk out of the job and expose the absolute ****ing shite sitting in the boardroom. We're getting relegated anyway, might as well have a clearout while we're at it.
