Looks like someone's nicked his shorts!

Couldn't agree more. We are on target for one of the most successful seasons in the club's history with 22 wins out of 29 matches and people are still unhappy. Some fans have very short memories given some of the sh1t we were subjected to last season. Hoofball is history.

With the announcement that Alex Smithies has retired due to injury - I suspect that Ward will now be staying at least till the end of the season. Smithies Announces Retirement (lcfc.com)

I second that proposal. Don't want people like that on the forum. There is no room for that kind of sentiment here or anywhere else. Condolences to Ben Moore's family and friends.

Anybody with a live stream/TV coverage - how did Harry Souttar do today?

Normally I hate all these Dad jokes - but that one genuinely made me chuckle.

Anybody know how long his contract is for?

So, Players for the Championship rebuild, who do you want?

Thanks for the info - that's really disappointing news. -

I thought I'd read that he was out till the end of September. Where has this "early November" info come from? -
Excellent. Some actual news rather than just menu options. Thanks for the info.

I'm pleased for you.

I had hoped we might get ex Arsenal youth player Zach Awe on a free, but it looks like he's off to Southampton now. He would have been a good signing. -
Is there any actual news on this story of are we just listing what we have eaten / are eating tonight?I

Zach Awe (ex Arsenal) and Axel Tuanzebe (ex Man Utd) are both available for free. Both would be excellent replacements for Vestergaard. Tuanzebe has experience of Championship promotion while on loan at Villa and Awe is an England youth international. If we are able to get a few million for Vesty this could make excellent financial sense. And both are young enough that if either do well for us, we could sell on for a healthy profit. -
Or possibly Zach Awe

I like the look of this guy. I know it's only a "show reel" but there's a lot of good stuff on there. He looks comfortable on the ball, accurate passer, excellent shot stopping and the triple penalty save was impressive. Be great to get him on board.

Thanks for the info - really helpful.

What's a "matching offer clause"? Not heard of that before.
-
Surely they can't complete the transfer until the player has passed his medical. Can't see him passing a medical anytime soon as he's currently in recovery from surgery. Pretty sure I've read somewhere that he will be out for a few months so may miss the transfer deadline.
-
He's being linked with a transfer to Wet Spam Utd - perhaps we should ask for Benrahma in part exchange.

I see that Burnley signed Aaron Lennon on a free transfer yesterday. May be an indication that they might be willing to let McNeil go if they get a good offer?
