The great man got off to a promising start but like others injuries have been unkind. Particularly losing Sarr who looked bang on form. Hope they stick with him.

Luke has been a real plus point this season and great to see young players from the local area coming through so consistently now. Our injury problems have been horrendous over the last couple of years. It is indicative of the strength of our squad that we are able to maintain a top half position and still beat one of worlds best teams whilst in such a dire position. Exciting attractive football too.

To be fair Dorris is much underrated IMO. Great distribution skills and always consistent despite niggling injuries -varicose veins etc.

Really like the look of Yves Bissouma for Brighton. He is a very good all round midfielder. Great intensity energy and tackling prowess. Very aware of what’s going around him. Can bring the ball forward nicely and play a good pass/shot. He has also got that toughness we lack a bit of. Would be a great addition to our team in my opinion.

Yes I think this one is likely or maybe barnes coming in for Maddison depending on relative fitness and recovery. Not sure about exciting but I certainly sense a bit of the Dunkirk spirit going on. Loved last night. Never give up the faith. Shame the Mrs has the Rona bad and we couldn’t go. Just waiting to show positive myself. Didnt have time to give away tickets or car park.

I get that and I work in a similar field too. My real beef is the trolls just trying to wind people up for a laugh. Even with the tentatively good news on omicron I don’t think we are quite there yet. You’re right too there are many other big issues that need sorting out. I’d add climate change to that list. Some stuff can be a distraction from the other issues. We have to take a deep breath and do the right thing at all times and we will get there one way or another -either the easy way or the hard way. Reading these threads I notice too worrying trends. Firstly there are a lot of people genuinely unable to understand or trust the information given by scientists and health advisers. This may be due to not having time to digest the information given, disinterest, trust issues or maybe just not being able to interpret data properly. Science and maths isn’t everyone’s thing. More time and patience is needed to educate on this important subject though I know it has been tried repeatedly. More upsetting is the subset (aided by social media platforms) who probably get what is getting on yet deliberately try to creat misinformation and mayhem amongst those mentioned above who probably find this a stressful struggle to know what to do for the best. Shameful. Lives will be lost and mostly in the vulnerable groups.

Bissouma would be a good addition but he has other suitors after him and wouldn’t come cheap. Can play a bit though.

Definitely showing signs of kicking on from his breakthrough season last year. Seems to be maturing mentally as well as physically. Love the tenacity he is showing and has the odd trick up his sleeve too. Well done lad. Very proud.
