Probably why he never kicked on, as much as we moan about footballers living in a bubble, I can't see it being particularly great for him football wise essentially living like a 'normal' lad in his twenties

Yeah I get your initial point you were trying to make and that you're playing devils advocate a bit, but I don't think it really backs up Rodgers

His record wasn't actually hideous and had they given him the job sooner they'd of likely stayed up -

Poor that everyone on here doesn't stand with the family imqho -
Questions regardless, we'd signed two centre backs the year before I'm guessing with the idea of Maguire likely moving on, Soyuncu turned out to be fine as well, so selling Maguire was hardly a huge negative really.

Pretty sure we signed Benkovic and Soyuncu the summer before to allow them a year to settle in, in preparation for Maguire leaving. We didn't actually need to replace him did we.

Don't forget he also did this

Seems very Ben Marshall to me where he probably knocks about with all his old local pals
-
Seems to understand how shite we're currently being run, however I wouldn't want him anywhere near the club either to be honest
-
Surely you play Daka again after he had a decent game

Bigger question is why are we still using Belvoir Drive, is it just the women's team down there now?

Well as director of football there's some actual data such as transfers, fees and wages to judge Rudkin on which is slightly different to gauging how effective a standard youth turned first team coach is. I'm also not saying King is or isn't actually any good, so you're missing the point massively, just that you have zero idea really about how good he is as a coach, other than he's not done brilliantly in a role he doesn't actually want. -

100% loss record of a job he didn't want? You do realise a coach like King would just be working under what a head coach wants him to do right? I'm not the one putting opinion across as fact, when in reality you have zero idea of his influence as a coach. Did you think Ranieri should just bring in all his own staff and bin off Pearsons backroom team? -

I'm glad you know exactly what Andy King has done as a coach and exactly what players have or haven't learnt from him. -

Yeah it's more whether it's a good enough job to be able to essentially do the same/better here, like you said though we aren't appointing him so its all a bit pointless. -

Yeah and I'd said I'd probably worded that wrong so chill out a little bit man Yeah but who mentioned best win ratio of any manager under Marinakis that wasn't just Ange was it, hence why I've pointed out him being lower than others on points per game -

Firsly I've said I'd perhaps worded it wrong about it not improving since Ange, so calm down a little bit brother, but it's fair to look at Everton, becahse you wouldn't appoint a manager based on one job would you. You mentioned win rates of managers under Marinakis as a point to back him up, so it's pretty fair we look at points per game as well. -

Tommy Fresh replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's got a lower points per game record then Nuno and Steve Cooper at Forest, which I'd argue is more important than win percentage. But if you want to talk about win percentages he has one of the worst of recent managers at Everton. Perhaps worded it wrong about it not improving since Ange, but there's no way Dyche was hired with the squad they have for them to be happy with 17th and looking over their shoulders as West Ham find form. -

Sean Dyche who went in at Forest and hasn't improved anything -
Not sure on the ins and outs but isn't that what Besiktas just did with Abraham?

I work in telecoms/networking, work with a number of cyber secuirty experts and one of the first things they'll show customers is a website that shows you how long it would take someone to crack a specific password Something like this https://bitwarden.com/password-strength/ even if you don't want to put in an actual password, it gives you an idea of what passes for a strong password
