He really does have a bad habit of pulling out of challenges.
-
And its bollocks anyway on deadline day. If a £50 mil offer for mads comes in this afternoon do we really have 2 players ready to come in? Takes us forever to get deals done.
-
Depends on how you look at it. If he is asked to only find £2mill worth of players this window then he's done a great job. Its a bit like asking me to build banking software for nothing. Its not like he's had £50 mil to play with.
-
I hope it absolutely nails this opportunity.
-
Yeah, im sure we can make do with Faes/Jannick and Coady for the rest of the season. Cant see anything going wrong with that.
-
He was a bargain basement cost (14m euros) and plays like it. I never doubt his effort and he is very rarely injured. He just isn't very good, but im not really surprised based on how much he cost. Cant keep comparing him to other CB's who cost a lot more. Even Souttar cost about £4-5 million more! But Wout isn't our problem. Our issue is that we only have bargain basement CB's that no one else wants and we've not been able to recruit to improve. 3 of our CB's are Coady/Faes and Vesty. Its comical. I like the look of Okoli but i think its going to take him a little longer to get fully up to speed.
-
He joined when we were bottom of the league after our worst PL start and we couldn't ship out any deadwood or sign anyone with any credentials. Our trajectory isn't his fault.
-
Absolute bollox, and i hate this being regurgitated time and time again. Its like a 'respect' performance goal is being set on Ruud. He doesn't have to walk away from his contract. They can fire him if they think he cant do the job.
-
Queue lots of 'Nidid and Mads coming being back will feel like a new signings'. Was only going to be this way. Woyo was bargain basement only. We're f****d.

3 days ago people were saying build the team around him.

Everton 4-0 LCFC, post match thread

Enjoyed that. -
But remember how crap Forest were under Cooper last season. Its why all we have to do is survive this season. A bit of decent recruitment and Ruud getting things right, we could do well.
-
Its crap but i like it, to the tune of Only You (Yazoo) All i needed was that goal you gave All i needed was that pass you made But all i ever knew El Khannouss I'll get my coat
-
Play badly you need to earn your spot. He does make things happen but there is a cost to it. Currently, BEK is the main man and rightly so. Facundo needs to improve and he will be given his chance.
-
Doesn’t deserve it.
-
Now i really want him to join.

To be fair, there are rumours about Thomas being on the way out (club is secretive and this could be more advanced than we think), and they know how Ricardo's recovery is going and also if he is likely to be moving on next season as well. Club is also well aware that JJ is under performing and a massive injury risk. I'm well up for this. Think he's a great player.
-
JJ is getting injured anyday now, Ricardo will very likely suffer a setback along the way, and Thomas needs to leave.
-
First match next season against Millwall.
-
Every time i've seen Lamptey i've been really impressed, and he is better than what we currently have available. Injury record is horrible, so he will make an excellent replacement for Riccy. Between them, one is likely to be fit.
-
This is exactly why i think it's all to play for and right now i want to still get behind Ruud and the players who are putting in a shift (BEK, Soumare etc). Scraping through this season is still a very viable target. Do that i think we can get mid table next year as i think Ruud will know how to rebuild our defense and is already showing signs that he is setting higher standards than his predecessor.

Loved a burger too.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I mean - wow. I said i found them quite difficult to work with in the past but you've taken it to some level there. -
To be fair, i think anyone would have been terrified coming on in that situation. Love the fact he won it back. Did think he was on the pitch for that save, but my memory escapes me.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

They both offer something different. I don't think Mav makes that pass to Vardy, but bobby doesn't have Mavs pace. Mavs is off form though, so in hindsight playing Bobby was the right choice.
