  1. Not sure with Facundo coming back that he's warranted a start yet. Impact from the bench is his level for sure. But lovely to see him score!
  2. I genuinely think that's unfair. I do agree that he isn't going to excel at PL level and he is tentative and lacks confidence to take on people, but remember there was a very good assist against West Ham and i think he offers more than Mavididi does to protect the full back. Mavi doesn't look fully fit to me, but did change the game when he came on. Saying he is the worst for us in 10 years is taking the pee. Being a winger in the PL is hard, hard work. We've seen Mavi start and have poor games and posters saying that he almost looks disinterested. Almost seems coming on and being and impact player suits everyone more.
  3. I think he's currently better than in the last 2 seasons. Just looks sharper, quicker and hungrier.
  4. Plus 50 mill
  5. Isn’t not playing someone because you are worried about suspension literally the same as the player being suspended? I get Wolves is big, but points are available against Newcastle too. Saying that, Vardy needs more rotation. I’m more worried about injury rather than suspension.
  6. Not at all. We were playing a team who are leaps and bounds ahead of us, but it didn’t really show. Don’t think we were lucky at all. If anything, I felt they were fortunate to get the 2nd. That last 10 mins was many things but not luck.
  7. More possession, an XG that wasn't 0.3, 3 big chances and a big lump of accurate passes. Even a relatively equal number of corners. Brighton are no push over. This was a big improvement. I felt their 1-0 lead wasn't deserved and their 2nd knocked the stuffing out of me as i felt we were always in the game. Then we went nuts, and rightly so. I felt at times the front 3 weren't on the same wavelength, and you could see Vardy getting frustrated with Kasey at times. I think Mavididi in particular (after a poor few minutes) changed things massively and caused them loads of problems. I think Mavi and Facundo starting the next few games will be sweet and more clinical. Interesting to note that across both teams Bouba won most duels and Coady had most touches / passes. Just better stats all round apart from in attack.
  8. Was pretty gnarly today actually. As soon as the 2nd went in it emptied out around us. Sure, the weather was horrible, but if you want fight from your players then you do need to do your bit sometimes. Nick one back and anything is possible - we've seen other teams do this so many times. Bournemouth did it today as well. We were treated to a fantastic last 10 mins. Glad we stayed
  9. Not sure i agree with this desire to to cast players out. Ayew has done some decent jobs for us but was poor today. But i still think there will be days (mostly as an impact sub) where he shows up and does a job for us - he is definitely a 'moment' player. Skipp grew into the game for me and was ok towards the end (although a way off being good). He is young and has talent - a good coach will help him, not 'suss' him. Faes has played a lot of football for us. I think a few games on the bench isn't a bad thing and Coady / Vesty have looked good, but i don't think those 2 play every game from here on. Faes will still get starts i am sure and a bit of a reset for him will do good.
  10. Yelling at the players in the warm up (although Vards completely ignoring him!). Leadership shines through. 2 good games. Him and Vesty made a decent pairing.
  11. Amorin already looks dodgy. Think Ruud will be at Man U either next season or the one after. Hes the real deal.
  12. I dont think so. Lots of games have goals in quick succession. Both goals were well worked, and the 2nd came from us pressing them and then attacking quickly. Its not as if we had something bouncing off the back off someone's head or something. In the context of the game, i think we deserved something.
  13. They had a good manager those 2 games
  14. Sort of thing i like to see: https://youtu.be/38_0cqW-lqw?t=401
  15. He's a £15m defender. Kilman reportedly went for £40m and Mavropanos for £25m. They aren't leagues ahead of Wout. We literally have what we paid for. He's erratic and there are mistakes in him, but he is capable and always puts a shift in. I also can't remember him getting injured and has made over 100 appearances for us. I agree with his criticism, but i dont like a lot of the hate. Im not sure he is ever going to change and i think no matter what he will be off end of this season. I actually thought the first few games of the season he had stepped up a bit, and i think it was Bournemouth when he got the captains armband for a bit. But he has regressed again.
  16. Reckon they go Potter though?
  17. Sorry to be pedantic, but we aren't lucky that Vardy was onside. And Vards could have added another not longer after, and Ndidi forced an excellent save from Fabiański. We had our own chances.
  18. Winks got injured. Ndidi will get injured. Skipp will come good.
  19. I said more relaxed . I felt there was more composure there and it felt better organised, especially down the right which has been our issue all season so some work had clearly gone into it. Any PL team should have lots of chances, so even the best organised defence will feel like it has moments where its a scare.
  20. I think the shot stat is skewed by WH largely being sh1te and playing almost desperately at times. We actually registered 2 more big chances (7) than West Ham and i felt we always looked better when attacking. It was like watching a completely different side play vs Cooperball era. Our defence wasn't perfect, but i felt much more relaxed watching us defensively yesterday than i have all season. You could clearly see some early work had gone into it, and i'm hopeful there is much more work to be done.
  21. I thought he was one of the better players against Chelsea (i know we were poor overall, but he still stood out). Thought he was really good yesterday. Might be reading too much into it, but it feels like something has clicked.
  22. Difference was night and day. It was as if Cooper had told them not to press. He’s a winner. Love it.
  23. And I said to Rod Hull, thats a fu**ing Emu you di**head.
  24. Really rate him too and thought he did really well in the cup games he played last year.
